Extremely good game for only $20. More bang for you buck than just about any game out there.

I hopped into the thread specifically to see if Dishonored had been mentioned yet. Got it preloaded on Steam and can't wait to play it in the morning. Everything about this game looks fantastic especially all of the extra PC options that was put into the game. I loved thief and deus ex and this looks like somewhat of a continuation of those franchises in a bit of a different setting.
More reviews basically saying all the same thing: it's really good.

My computer runs Torchlight 2 perfectly. Will be getting it. Played the first part of the game. Took out some baddies, leveled up just once... Its a fun game.

Nope, I pretty much only play BL2 and TL2 on steam right now. Only other game I'm playing at them moment is Guildwars 2.

I have played Dishonored for about an hour now. First impressions are the gameplay is very fun. Combat is smooth and the kill animations are very cool.
I like the art style. Not quite cell shaded but definitely not going for a realistic look either. Some of the textures are a little muddy even on PC on the highest settings. So that is a little disappointing.
Doing an entire play through without killing anyone is going to be very challenging. The enemy AI can be a little inconsistent.
Overall I think I am going to really enjoy this game. Really takes me back to when I first started up Half Life and Bioshock. Definitely takes a lot of inspiration from those games as well as Thief and Deus Ex.

Overall the game is very good and I don't really have any complaints.
The setting is very cool. It is called Dunwall but obviously takes a lot of influence from late 1800's London.

At the end of the missions when you get your mission evaluation, do you know if choking people out counts toward your violent total? The tutorial mission at the beginning when you break out of jail, I only killed one person but choked out a lot and still had a high violent total. I also killed a few rats but didn't know if that would count towards it as well.
So far, I'm with you, I'm really enjoying the game. Love that you can go about doing different things to get passed the same objective.

I have not used much stealth I am just a straight forward murdering fool. I have not had the chance to play long though it may make me use more stealth later in the game. So far the game has been really fun though.

As far as choking people out I am not sure. I.am just killing everything on the first play through.
