When I went to install it the game it said the data was corrupt. So I guess the download messed up.

Curgan has had a bunch of issues with this lately, but I haven't seen hide more hair of it.

That's not Halo. That's a tranny hooker dressed up in a Mark IV suit.

I don't mind tweaking a few things, but they essentially took most things from CoD (loadouts, drops,"join session in progress",general game flow) and tried to meld it together. When I heard a 343 programmer talk about "now no one will finish with zero points", I lost it.

Why can't we just have normal 4v4,even-flow maps and everything else that makes Halo Halo? Why do we have to make it something else? I don't want to play Call of Duty: 2253.

Call of Duty is the same way. Black Ops 2 is such a fail. You only need so much ish going on during a game. It just takes away from the actual gameplay.

All of this will be yours...Play MLG playlist. This is a BTB map for the "fun" players.

I will play for Montage purposes in some playlist for fun, but I will be invested in the MLG playlist that will have 4v4 even flow, symmetrical maps. This game will separate the competitive players and the social crowd very well. It will be fun to get the best of both worlds. Halo is taking a social COD play style while adding a competitive arena for players as well. Do not worry about that, MLG will be showing and playing their own layout of the game Friday night. They had a lot to do with the play style of this game, and they wont disappoint

I bet its a great game. You rely too much on scores.

I'm on my way to get ac3 and need for speed most wanted

How do I rely too much on scores? I still get the game if I want it. And more often then not they are accurate. The same thing addressed in these reviews have been addressed by my friends that have played the game.

Everyone that I have spoke to has said the game is brilliant.

The complaints the reviewers have given are not nearly enough to knock the score as much as they have.

Can't wait for BO2 to get a 9+ because the reviews were bought and paid for.

BF is the shooter that stands on its own the most. The large maps, the great vehicle game play, teamwork with squads, ect...

They have been the top shooter since BF 1942, IMO. BF is also the most innovative.

See the squad playing appeals in some ways but because I've never played I don't have a core of friends who are good players like I do in Halo or CoD.

Plus, I kind if like how at times I can take over a Halo or CoD game.

  • Doing a system update at the moment. Thought I would look up some Need for Speed Most Wanted reviews. Even though I'm not a fan of IGN, they gave it a lot of praise with a high score.

The Need for Speed franchise returns to the hands of Criterion. But is the series back to its best?

If you are good you can take over BF but it is not easy. There have been plenty of times where our squad ran right through other teams while we all 4 have the top scores in the game out of 24 people. There have been times when the 4th player in our squad scored several thousand more points than 5th place.

It actually gets frustratinf because you carry your team so much.

Plus I can only play objective based game modes. No TDM.

  • One more NFS: MW review. This one is from Destructoid. Everyone seems to be liking it. I haven't liked a Need For Speed since the original Most Wanted for PS2. About to pop this bad boy in. I'll be back with my review in a little while.

Review: Need for Speed Most Wanted - Destructoid

  • The reviews are accurate for Assassins Creed 3 IMO. At times it is by far the best of the series but there are long sequences where it is boring also. I still have a long way to go too though. It is still a must have game it does have its minor flaws though.

Yeah they are. I have been playing it for a couple hours now while my snazzy new Vita charges so I can play Liberation as well. AC3 is pretty awesome thus far, there is a bit of a slow down for the "tutorial" portion of the game, but this is nothing to complain about. In my experience IGN likes to knock games for sticking to the formula that has worked for them gameplay wise instead of trying to fix what isn't broken like so many games do.

I've got something to say! It's better to burn out than fade away!

    Curgan62

  • OK, just a quick update.

Just started the game. Apparently, you will find cars in the open world. If you find a car, you can drive the car. Every car you find has its own set of races. From what I can tell, the world is massive.

This is something new, and I like it. No unlock system, no progression system. Just playing the game looking for that next awesome car.

Criterion makes great arcade racers. If you like the Burnout series you should like this game. I will more than likely get it in the future because I love the Burnout games but right now I am too busy with Forza Horizon and Assassins Creed 3 with Halo 4 coming out next week.

They knock every game but CoD. They praise CoD for fine tuning the game.

  • Alright, my initial review of Need for Speed Most Wanted.

This is the Need for Speed I have been waiting on. Like I said, I haven't enjoyed a NFS since the original Most Wanted on PS2. The graphics are amazing, the game play is ultra smooth, the controls are tight, the day and night changes are perfect, the open world is massive and provides different types of scenery like city, desert, country, ect...

Not once have I rubber banded. The races are fast, fun, challenging, and rewarding. I am having a blast just searching the world for cars. Just found my first Mustang at the top of a parking garage. Gonna give it a go. I haven't been pursued by the police yet, and hearing the chatter of police radios is a good touch. I try to go the speed limit in town while searching for cars or traveling to races. The music is really good, and fits the mood of the game.

I would say overall, that this is the most finished and polished game I have played in quite awhile. It doesn't seem like EA or Criterion rushed this game out. It feels finished, which is something I can very rarely say these days. I can see why its getting 9/10 from places like Game Informer and IGN.

This is going to be a great day/week of gaming seeing how I haven't even got to Assassins Creed 3 yet. Great week for gamers.
