Nope. I gave up. I honestly had nowhere else to look. I did everything I was told to do in about 20 different server creating videos. Still wouldn't work for some reason. I just want like a private server. So maybe 1 or 2 people can come in and we can play some survival for awhile. I don't want some MMO sized server where its just a big mess.

  • Man, Fifa '13 is hella fun.. I love the Fifa series.

The thing that sucks is I feel like some of the games I play online have Rubber-Band AI.. I PRAY that Fifa didn't add Rubber-Band AI in their latest update or I will never play this great game again.

I'll see about setting up one on mine sometime this week. If nothing else, I'll invite you to the one we play on. It handles up to 24 players at a time but I've never seen more than 5 on at one time.

That would be awesome. I'm ready to play with another mind. I know how to craft most items, explore, build homes, ect... But I'm not ultra creative. Need a creative mind to play with.

Steambox has the potential to DESTROY the console gaming market. It will most likely have the option to not only use 360 controllers, but Mouse & Keyboard. If they pull it off, how I think they will. It will take a bite out of every gaming market, except for handeld/portable. Now, I won't buy one, but it looks very promising. Those at Valve are geniuses, except for the fact they aren't doing HL2: EP3 anymore. That still pisses me off.

Most PC games have the option to use a Xbox controller already so I am sure that is the case.

The only thing that can keep consoles alive is good exclusives.

And what are you talking about with Half Life? They are still making it. It will just be HL3 now instead of HL2: Ep 3. At least that is my theory.

If they make it easily accessible for mouse and keyboard it will kill the console. People using controllers will be at a huge disadvantage, and it would turn a lot of people away from the console, including myself. When I play console, its to relax with a controller on a couch and not get owned by some try hard using something superior on a game that is supposed to be balanced.

It all depends on who it will be able to play multiplayer with. If it's with PC. It won't even touch the console market. Something I'm praying for, but I'm doubting will happen, is cross-platform Multiplayer. Allow PC to play with Xbox, Playstation, and vice versa. Stop segregating each market and let them all play together. Would help every market. Though in FPS games PC would have an advantage, but the advantage isn't so big. Only thing that mouse & keyboard can do better is twitch aiming, but honestly, with how quickly you die in games now-a-days, twitch aiming rarely ever works.

Even with a mouse, with near instant looking behind you, still doesn't give you much time to get the kill. People already use mouse & keyboard right now anyway.

Cross platform gaming would make me(and probably many others) give up console gaming altogether. Some games have tried it. All have failed miserably. It is literally impossible to balance a game when some are using controller, and some are using mouse and keyboard. Mouse and keyboard wins 90% of the time.

Microsoft and Sony would run themselves into the ground going cross platform with PC. That is why they won't do it. They have tested it a few times with different games. All games failed. If Steambox does this, the consolers won't play it, and the PC guys will likely still play exclusively on their PC, and the Steambox will also fail.

They were going to do it with CS: GO and scrapped it because PC had to much of an advantage.

FYI Aussie, try Dead Trigger. Fun little zombie killer game. Has micro-transactions, but you can get quite a bit of fun without them. Also, Nuns Attack.

Tablets are good but still don't have buttons.

Plus this will probably run on the Tegra 4 so it will be more powerful.

Still gonna be very limited with what it can do, unless they change focus and actually push gaming capabilities on android, I can't see why this would be worth it, unless you filled it with emulators.

Sony and MS better get their shit together or they are going to be left behind.

EDIT: Actually I guess this is something different than the Steambox but will use Steam.

Ah, so basically a PC for the living room. Don't see how that really fits into the gaming market. The games with the good PC multiplayer are best played on 19-32" LCD monitors with mouse and keyboard. Don't really understand the market they're shooting for shrug.

From what I've read at IGN. That's in-game gameplay, and that's how the game will be played. There's really not a lot of information about it yet. Just a release date of 2013 at the moment. I haven't been scared in a game since the first F.E.A.R game. Looks quite interesting. I have to imagine, after seeing those soldiers, you will get access to guns, but very limited ammo (I'm hoping). That's where past survival games have gone wrong, it just end up turning into an FPS Shooter because you got so much ammo.
