Video Game Thread: Retired

  • I will get a PS4 (probably) for the exclusives. If I could get Sony exclusives on PC I would be done with consoles.

    Both companies have drug their feet far too long on the next generation and both consoles will probably be outdated the day they launch.

    It is not facts and I still own both systems and am a member of xbla and psn. Sony hurt themselves this generation with a greedy start and making the PS3 hard to develop for. Yes the PS3 is slightly more powerful but Crysis looks just as good if not better on 360 and it rivals anything on PS3 other than maybe Uncharted 3. I give more credit to Sony's great 1st party developers more so than the PS3 on the great looking games.

    I wish I could afford a PC right now but i can't. It really is by far better than consoles.

    Sony is hurting compared to what they used to be. There was no comparison between the PS2 and the original Xbox in sales. If Sony considers this generation a success then that may be why they are in the financial situation they are in. Maybe in your eyes that is doing good but I have higher expectations.

  • Just beat The Walking Dead, and can see why it won GOTY. So amazing, and as a father, the story really hit me.

    The Season 2, whenever it comes out, will be a definitely first day buy for me.

    Actually 6. Xbox had a year head start.

    Doesn't matter. Neither console has sold as well as these companies had hoped. They better get it together or this next generation will be the last for MS and Sony.

  • I have read on some game sites that the PS4 could possibly be announced in weeks. They are also saying they may be changing the controller and it could be touch screen. These are just rumors but it gets my hopes up they announce it soon. I really hope they don't change the controller though. I will be pissed off if either Xbox or ps4 changes the controller.

    I'm guessing it will be very similar to the XBOX controller, but the user will have options on where to have the sticks and d-pad. The XBOX controller is the best controller, no doubt.

    I like the size of the xbox but the placement of the sticks on the PS controller.

    I am hoping that even if Sony does change controllers there will still be an option to use the Dualshock.

  • I like the Xbox controller slightly better overall but there are a few games I like the PS3 controller a little better on. I really hope they do not change the design on either of them. I care less about damn touch screen bs.
