    BF3 and NHL 12 is all I will need nirvanabama. I will pick up a couple more though when the price drops. Dead Island looks like it will be an absolute blast to play with 3 other people. Skyrim is a must, but not sure when I will get it. Probably midnight, like every other gamelol BF3 will be my go to game for over a year more than likely, with NHL12 filling my sports slot.

    BC2 has been out for a year and a half and I still play that a lot. BF3 looks a lot better so multply how long I will be playing that.

    Between BF3 and Skyrim I may never step outside again.

    This has nothing to do with LSU beating me, but it does have A LOT do to with I have so much LAG playing against you guys online that it just pisses me off and I don't need that.

    Sorry guys, but it just isn't happening. I've played several ranked/unranked games to get use to it and it's just so much of a problem that things I know I can do... I can't do. I press buttons and things just isn't happening, guys can run sweeps on me and weave in and out while I'm still trying to hit X to tackle and nothing is happening.

    Before you blast me, I started this before I moved when I had 20 meg service, now I moved and where I'm at, I just have a straight out shitty ISP. It's horrible!

    Looks like I'm out of the OD business for now until I can get a better ISP.

    Question is, who want's the COMMISH job? I'll transfer the duties over right now.

  • This is good to hear.

    Electronic Arts has boasted that Battlefield 3 pre-order figures are ten times those of Battlefield: Bad Company 2. It would appear that the hype and gorgeous graphics are paying off.

    By all accounts, Battlefield 3 is going to be one of the most serious contenders for the First-person-shooter crown we've seen in a long time. EA has sunk a ridiculous amount of money into its advertising, and the huge marketing push has paid off.

    Of course, Call of Duty, which can't help but be brought up thanks to EA's obsessive comparisons, continues to grow each year, so Battlefield 3 has a tough fight on its hands if it wants to be crowned king of all military shooters.

  • It seems there is no limit for ncaa to cheating when it comes to be playing on all american. There is no way to not get you all game long... in all seriousness my defensiveback just had the ball in his hands with receiver two yards away who promptly morphed over there and caught it...

  • I don't think BF3 will pass COD in sales. If the graphics are half as good on consoles as they are on the PC which they have been showing then I will for sure get it though. I am for sure getting Resistance 3 and probably every other game you mentioned sooner or later aussie. I am making my PS3 my go to system now but it has been my 360 which if you have looked I have played a ridiculous amount of games.

  • I got a 160g PS3. I am thinking close to the end of the year I will be out of memory and I am looking to add more memory preferably 500g. I was looking on amazon and found a external hard drive for around $100 500g. It says it is for the PS3 and for songs, photos, movies. I personally just want it for games. Do any of you know if this will work. Here is the link.

    I honestly don't care what BF looks like. I prefer BF when it comes to gameplay over COD. I also don't care if BF passes COD in sales. As long as it does well so DICE is rewarded for the efforts.

    This. COD can have sales as far as Im concerned. If BF3 sales are higher that just means that COD fanboys/kids are making their way over to Battlefield..I can do without those guys.

    Any external hard drive you get is going to need to be formatted in FAT32 which can be a bit of a pain in the ass. You will need to download a program to format it.

    You can also buy a laptop hard drive and install that in your PS3.

    They have compared the graphics on PS3 and PC. Both look awesome. Of course PC has slightly better graphics, but that doesn't matter. BF3 will draw the more mature crowd, as expected, but I'm afraid it might draw some of the kids over from COD as well. Not for long, though. Once they realize you actually have to have some skill on BF3 they will go running back to COD4 Modern Warfare version 3.1.
