I really believe Gears 3 could have been a huge hit, but they added in the sawed off shotgun. You dont even have to aim to instantly kill someone. I hope they fix it. Other than that, I have really enjoyed it. I just need some people to play with.

Well they fixed the main issue of Gow2 with dedicated servers, but added 2 huge noob weapons. The sawed off's area of spread is the whole screen. So people just wait behind corners and when you get close they just pull the trigger and you are dead

I love the sawed off shotgun in Gears it is basically a melee weapon. You will not kill anyone unless you are right on them. Gears 3 is the best multiplayer game I have played in a long time. It is nice to get away from FPS for a change. Whoever said it was not a huge hit selling 3 million and a 91 on metacritic is kind of hard to top. If graphics matter to you guys I hope you are getting Battlefield 3 on PC because I have been reading from multiple sites where the console versions are a big disappointment so far. Also IGN just did a article where Demon Souls is better than Skyrim in several areas including open world. Just giving my opinion on Gears 3 and updating on what I have read.

Battlefield will still have the best graphics of any FPS on console by far. Its a disappointment because the PC version is that much superior, and that is how it should be. PC's are so much more powerful than these old consoles. I mean, they could be using the old ass Quake engine that COD uses. Now that would suck. Thank God DICE keeps improving their product and introduced the Frostbite 2 engine with Battlefield 3.

I know how to counter it, what sucks is when they just camp behind a wall and wait. You can gib from futher out with the SOS theres a bunch of vids on it. You can gib futher out than the gnasher

Actually from what I am reading it is on COD level about the same as BF2 and nowhere near as good as Killzone 3 and Crysis 2. These are just betas so they could improve a lot before release. I just would not get my hopes up too much. I think Dice is wowing people with the PC version which looks amazing but I am afraid the console versions may disappoint.

Think about what you just said. The same as BF2 which was released in 2005. Now... really? The videos look amazing, destruction looks great, graphics look awesome... Every review I have seen only has positive things to say. Meanwhile, in GameInformer and GAMER magazines COD looks "same old same old". Yes, the PC version is superior(I plan to get it for PC and PS3) but the console version still looks great.

Well I am playing the beta right now and can fell you it blows COD away. Of course it doesn't look as good as Killzone or Crysis. Those games are beasts. They also don't have nearly as much going on as Battlefield.

As far as comparing it to Bad Company 2 it looks quite a bit better. If you are expecting it to look like the PC videos than no.

I have watched videos of modern warfare 3 beta and console battlefield 3 and there is very little difference between the two. You should not buy itb based off graphics.

I am not buying off graphics. Even if Battlefield looked inferior to MW3 than I would still play it over COD because I prefer the gameplay.

But I am here to tell you that BF3 looks much better than any COD I have played before. And since COD never makes very big visual leaps from one game to the next I have to assume that MW3 won't either. They are still using a 6 year old engine that is a modified version of an even older engine.

Either way if people want to play COD over Battlefield that is fine with me.

If it is anything like Demon Souls it will be brutally hard. Still I think you will really enjoy it.

Same here. As much as I am looking forward to Battlefield 3 I am looking forward to Skyrim even more.
