    Once all of us finish up the SP we should play some co-op. I think you can have 3 at one time. Co-op was fun on UC2.

  • So I picked up a PS2 and controller at the thrift store for $20 last week. Got a memory card for cheap on eBay, gonna do the same for a wireless controller. I owned a PSOne but haven't been a Sony man since. What, in tBB's opinion, are/were the MUST HAVE PS2 games?

    I don't really know PS2 too much but I loved the Metal Gear Solid series.

    Well the game I was just talking about Shadow of the Collussus. Also God of War 1 and 2 are a must. Devil May Cry 1 and 3 were really good. I will have to look at at my collection when I get home. I am having a hard time trying to remember everything right now.

    Oh Okami is another really interesting game.

    Look. This thread is 164 pages and counting and there are maybe 10 posts about MW3. Hardly "taking over" the thread. But whatever, it's your thread. It is getting more and more annoying to post on tBB.

    "I don't like the video game you brought up (in the Video game thread) so please move along" because:

    You're not "in the Fraternity of Coolest Internets Peeples" or because:

    You don't have the "cool exclusive Ask-Me-Nice badge". Not the way to get a board or community to grow.

    This is a huge overreaction. The only reason we said to start a new MW3 thread is because a lot of people will get the game Tuesday and want to post tidbits in here. We are just busting your balls about it..it's not that big a deal. We started a BF3 thread because we knew we'd post a ton in this one..not because we were trying to exclude anyone. Aussie is a mod..he's not trying to alienate anyone, and neither am I. Tons of posters in this thread play MW3..it's not a big deal. Take a deep breath.

    I knew it was a joke. It is like Cooter said I wasn't saying you guys can't post about COD. But when the game comes out I am sure there will be a ton of people playing it. Just like we did with BF I think there should be a COD thread so this one doesn't get taken over. It is not a big deal.

    As for the rest I don't know what to tell you. I don't act like that. I agree some people on here do but that is out of my control.

    As for the badge someone came up with the idea and we asked Noah if we could do it. We all like it. If you want one I am sure that can be arranged. Mountie and I came up with a list of people for the badge but it was bound to happen that we would forget someone. Let me go ahead and apologize.

    There is no need to go all Michael Madsen on us.

    cheers and just so everyone knows I am just busting your chops if you play COD. I give it shit but it is still a good game. Just not my kind of game. My problem is more with Activision than the game itself.

    ALL of my problems are with Activision. I might get the game to play the campaign and maybe some survival mode. I am a gamer after all. Not sure if my stomach will allow me to purchase it, but I haven't ruled it out.

  • Great thread guys. I am going to try and go in with two of my friends and try and co-purchase a few games and share them around. I generally am a sports game guy and by CFB and Fifa but want to branch out.

  • Guys with PS3- Do any of y'all know of an easy solution for the yellow light of death? Would complaining to Sony get me anywhere? I paid for them to fix the issue once and i see no reason to have to pay for it again since it is obviously a factory issue.

    Be careful doing that. A lot of games nowadays require am "online pass" that can only be used on one console. Any other console you have to pay like $10 for online access. That is to combat the used games market.

    itz, Activision is a money grubbing whore. They refuse to let the developers(IW, treyarch) to use their own ideas for the COD games. This is why IW fell apart, and now they are branching off to make their own stuff. MW3 is running on the same Quake engine that COD4 back in 2007 ran on. That is pathetic. Activision charges $15 for a measly map pack while EA/DICE charge $0 for map packs and $15 for full expansions(maps, weapons, vehicles, setting, ect....).

    Haven't had that problem, and hopefully never will. Contact Sony and start bitching. That is really the only way to get anywhere with these companies.

    Actually, the EA games do that now. FIFA 12, Madden, NHL.... A code comes in the case that you have to put in when you start the game. Almost every shooter has one as well.
