I haven't had a basketball game since my older brother bough NBA Jam 95.
They just aren't realistic and responsive enough (even with the current gen consoles).

I like basketball games that don't have 1,000 fugging button combos. Pointless to make it as difficult as it is for people who haven't played the franchise ever.

Ehh. Believe it or not NHL is probably the most under-rated.
I rank mine FIFA,NHL,NCAA,MLB the Show...everything else

I like FIFA a ton. Not too difficult yet very advanced. NCAA will always be my favorite though. I'm a UFC fan too.

I'm partial to NCAA because I've played it since the early 90's. The new UFC is very well put together. Not a baseball fan btw. Top Spin is good too!

People blindly buy NCAA every year and that is why they will not improve it. They don't have to for people to buy it.

Don't get me started. I could put up a hundred videos ive taken of lineman just missing blocks,shooting into gaps theyre not supposed to. Arms going through helmets for interceptions. MLB lagging across the screen to snag interceptions out of passing lanes or jumping ten feet in the air. The play clock running even though I clearly was out of bounds. Etc etc etc.
Even then though, it is still a lot better than most sports games.

This is true for a lot of franchises IMO (and not necessarily sports---I'm talking to you Call of Duty).
It's amazing how the want to play with friends can make a franchise billions.

I could do the same. 6'4 WR's that won't jump as high as CB's. Anything thrown remotely by a LB is batted down. Missed blocks on outside runs. No blocking up front.The bubble screen is worthless. You can't put a man in motion as a QB in RTG mode etc etc. Until there is an alternative I have no choice.

Agreed. EA is not even a top 10 developing studio IMO yet they have rights to the best (or what would be) games out.

I didn't finish it. My son actually finished it before I did. They could have done better on it. I'm very disappointed.

I have a feeling it's going to be a lot like LOST in that a lot of people will hate it but a group will love it. Personally, I loved the ending to LOST so we'll see how I feel when I finish ME3.
