I am loving LBPK, and I'm only playing the story right now. With LBP titles, the meat of the game is user created levels. Me and the wife have been playing for a couple hours, and it never got old. She never plays games, so its good to see her enjoying one.

All the more reason to play halo 4 multiplayer non stop...

Also, MAJOR props to Nintendo for being the first console manufacturer to FINALLY include an HDMI cable in the box with a system (Wii U). Seems like a minor victory, but it amazes me that it took this long to finally do so.

LittleBigPlanet: Karting

I love the entire LittleBigPlanet series. The never ending content, old school platforming, customization of Sackboy, ect... Karting is kind of a spinoff of the actual series, but its really good. A lot of fun, and like the other LBP games, will have never ending content due to user creations of tracks and races.

Here is a video of some game play. He is just playing the story mode. You play the story to get the prize bubbles that you see him getting. Each of those prize bubbles unlocks customization items and other things. The meat of the game, like any LBP game, is online community offering endless game play.

Me and the wife are going through the story in split screen, and she doesn't even play games.

Also, you may ask... Why is he a bunny? There are so many different things you can be. Sackboy is just a character that was sewn together, and he even has a zipper on his chest. Right now I have a sombrero, mustache, and just a bunch of different stuff on my Sackboy. You can also customize your kart.

Every game ships unfinished and then gets a release day patch and then several other patches along the way.

Battlefield 3 MP doesn't even resemble the MP when the game shipped. Completely different game now.

Some games are doing this. Probably a texture pack or something. BF did that also.

The gameplay is the perfect mixture of Halo 3 and Reach, more to the former. Multiplayer gameplay is great. It's the auxiliary stuff that bugs me. Once they get some patches and updates in, it should be top-notch.

Now I know I'm going to catch hell from Aussie, Hoffel, Joester, Barny, Ez, and everyone else under the sun. When I bought Medal of Honor, it was to have an arcade shooter I could just pick up and play for a few minutes. Well, the game was so terrible that Europe game distributors offered a full refund if the player brought the game back the next day. That is how incomplete and terrible the game was. I need an arcade shooter. Battlefield is still my franchise, and I hate myself for even thinking about buying an Activision product... But I still have an urge for an arcade shooter with little thought involved. Sucks that MOH is dead.
