I will say I am glad that they brought back headshots (for almost all except for a couple) as a pre-req for camos. It used to he a mark of honor, a rare gift to have gold weapons. It doesn't seem as prestigious as Modern Warfare, but at least its not as communal as it was in MW3.

Why can DICE/EA do it, but Treyarch/IW/Activision can't? Does the size argument hold up (too many players, too many places) for CoD?

I wasn't having any host problems, but just the typical latency problems.
I'm just curious if dedicated servers are possible and if so, beneficial.

Activision could do it but why would they? People will play the game regardless. They might as well save some cash.
BTW they do have dedicated servers on PC because PC players basically boycotted the previous titles until they gave them dedicated servers.

Would it take a lot of servers though? I can only imagine Activision going cheap and putting a limited number in service and then it be just as bad.
