    Still waiting for anyone to man up and play Dungeon Defenders or PS All-Stars with Curgan and I. Haven't really seen anyone on to play BF3 or BL2 lately.

    I am also awaiting this. I needed a break from BL2. The game had been out for just over 2 months the last time I played, and I was about to hit 20 days with my characters combined playtime. Was going to run out of orange loot to go after before long.

  • Just downloaded and started Star Wars: The Old Republic this weekend. So far pretty impressed with it. I am an old WoW player and the graphics are much better than WoW and its not as "kiddie" as WoW is, darker and everything. plus the entire game is full of the epic music.

    I have this downloaded but still haven't really messed with it yet. I have never played an MMO so.not sure what to expect.

    I will rejoin the grown up world soon enough, still have one semester left. Until then personal training on the side only consumes at most an hour at a time and pays better than any other part time job. You're just jealous because you have a job and a life and all that unnecessary crap getting in the way of gaming.

    Huge Star Wars fan. Was thinking of getting a gaming PC just for this game. Reconsidered after seeing how many Skyrim hours I've logged. I would lose touch with humanity if I played Old Republic.

    I swear when there is nothing going on it seems like I am sick of the games I am playing. Then when something comes out all of a sudden people want me to do stuff.

    Yeah the opening cinematic is awesome. With they would make a movie they looked that interesting.

  • and guys...its free to play right now for up to 25 levels (cap is 50)...which is definitely enough to see if you are interested...but limiting enough to get your money in the end!

    the questing is much more story oriented than wow...there is a reason you are doing the main questline, instead of wow which is kill 24 boar and collect 5 boar ribs.

    once you choose your character you get another cinematic sequence based on your character specifics...there are several of these also.

    obviously I chose a jedi knight...but after reading up on the game some the ranged guys are much stronger than the melee guys right now.

    but swashbuckling light sabers is too much fun to pass up.

    and there are RPG elements to it...it is MUCH more of a mix of MMO and RPG than wow. they take a lot of elements from Mass Effect with the light side/dark side being like the paragon/renegade thing...you choose how to respond in conversations/story mode and it affects the story.
