Went on the minecraftforums.net and found a really good survival island seed that I'm playing now. 15 minutes in, and I have already found a huge cave system. No coal yet. Lacking in torches, so its hard to see of a night.

Don't forget you can make charcoal whilst you wait to start finding more coal.

As soon as the guys that run the one I play on get the new one up and running I'll see about shooting you an invite. The world is massive and they build a huge city where every player gets a plot to build their house within the walls. Once you leave the city you're free to do what you please.

Survival. We'd all actually go on "dungeon raids" when we got bored of building lol. The best part of the server was the subway/monorail system they built and, if you were nice to everyone, they'd extend one of the rail lines to your outside location if you wanted.

Sounds cool. Just got me a penguin skin. Looks pretty badass. Much better than the normal skin that the game gets you. Its crazy how many different skins there are at minecraftskins.com
