    Anyone here play Dark Souls? I've been playing it the past few days and I really, really like it, but my god is it difficult.

    I own it. I play it for a couple days, and make very little progress, then take a couple month break. Been doing this for awhile now.

  • Killzone 4 will take place 30 years after the ending of Killzone 3. Hegs have been refugee types living amongst the ISA who have been pleading for forgiveness. They dont want forgiveness and are rising up now guerrilla warfare style If you havent finished KZ3 to know why..i would suggest finishing it.

    That is pretty cool. There was some speculation it was a prequel.

    I knew 8gb was going to be overkill. At least early on.

    Most PC games only require 4gb and even then probably dont use all of that.

    For now. Give it 4 years. They'll be pushing 8gb. Future proofing the console in a sense.

  • Tomb Raider got a 9.1 on IGN and an 8.5 on Gamespot (who has been rating games lower than usual recently). It sits at 8.6 on Metacritic.

    Crazy. That means things will look alot better in the next few years. I was a bit worried with the x86 architect things would be Maxed out to start. I for one enjoy seeing game development on consoles progress over the year.

    I think it looks pretty good. As with most games nowadays, I'll wait to see what the reviews are and then decide whether or not its a buy, rental, or neither.

  • New World and New Hero- the attached trailer talks about it to. The world is divided by a wall similar to and inspired by the Berlin wall between the soviet union and the west.

  • BioWare's art director says that, while the technology will be there, the next-gen leap "won't be as obvious" due to not wanting to repeat ballooned budget issues from this gen:

    It also comes down to the simple fact that in order to replicate the jumps in the previous generaion, you'd almost need graphics that looks like your game was being played out by real actors.

    This last gen had a lot of trickery to make things seem like they were running better than they are. Forced curt scenes were so the next pay off the game could loaf in the back ground. Frame rates were allowed to 30fps in most great looking games. Number of charectors on screen was midsection as only so many could be controlled by ai. Everything will run smoother this Gen. Also for us football fans we should finally get ps2 quality ncaa and Madden without the dvd drive of the 360 to hold it back. Hopefully the have 85 man rosters. If not I how someone else makes a college game
