    I disagree, have you ever been there ? it would take years to turn that place into a powerhouse program

    Stadium sucks, campus isn't that great at all and its just not a fun school in any way

    JMU is ten times better and even VT is much more fun

    UVA might be the worst school in Virginia

    I've had more fun at places like GMU and VCU

    UVA's campus is one of the nicest in the country and its a great school to go to. I'd say its easily the top school to go to in Virginia.

    They haven't been good in a very long time (ever?) and play in the ACC. It's an amazing feat they even get in the top 25. Top 10 recruiting classes usually include the same programs unless you got some shady schools like Ole Miss.

    They still have to fight off some big programs though, PSU, OSU, and a bunch of the ACC schools are pretty close to Virginia so most of the top talent is fine going a few hours away if they get to play for a better program.

    Almost every school in america has one of them

    Education is top notch, but that is the only part of it that is " top " in virginia

    Everything else about it doesn't even rate in terms of VA schools, especially the women.... that might be in last place in that category

    I don't believe it would take years if a coach like James Franklin or Pat Fitzgerald were to take the job and start winning on the field along with recruiting well.

    As it is with every sport, if you are winning, the atmosphere improves dramatically and boosters instantly become more inclined to donate, which in turn improves the facilities and causes the program to improve in a lot of aspects.

    What you described in your second statement takes years.

    Awful place imo, would never return.... especially now for obvious reasons

    I would like to take a piss where Joey Pa's statue used to be... that would be nice, but outside of that I wouldn't give 2 licks if both places burned to ashes

    Most top schools have the same culture as PSU and UVa, it's a product of having smart and rich alumni who have their children go to their alma mater.

    PSU is different than UVA, but I see what you are saying. Seems like Nova just doesn't like any of the good academic schools because of the type of kids they attract.

    The weather for one thing, and not all of them for I have friends that went there.... but the majority of those people aren't my kind of people

    Even if he commits to them early on he will reconsider after they suck again this season
