Did Obama supporter vote 6 times in 2012? Ohio poll worker target of investigation | Fox News

An Ohio poll worker says she voted twice for President Obama last November. She cast an absentee ballot and then voted at the polls as well. Authorities are also investigating if she voted in the names of four other people, for a total of six votes in the 2012 presidential election.

Roxanne Rubin, Nevada Republican, Accepts Plea Deal After Committing Voter Fraud

A Nevada Republican arrested for voter fraud in the 2012 election, after claiming she was trying to test the systems integrity, pled guilty and accepted a plea deal Thursday, forcing her to pay almost $2,500 and promise to stay out of trouble. Roxanne Rubin, 56, a casino worker on the Las Vegas Strip, was arrested on Nov. 3, 2012 after trying to vote twice, once at her poling site in Henderson and then at a second site in Las Vegas.

Honestly, election fraud is much more of a problem than voter fraud. Election Day needs to be a national holiday and early voting hours need to be extended to meet demand.

Florida is a perfect example of how a broken process results in thousands, if not tens or hundreds of thousands of uncounted votes.

How Florida's 2012 Election Was Bungled: Absentee Ballots, Provisional Votes, And The Legislature

After Election Day, America went to bed -- four times -- and still the Sunshine State hadn said Lee Rowland, of the Brennan Center for Justice, a nonpartisan public policy and law institute based at New York University.

  • Hardly anyone commits voter fraud.

However, there are several states and voting districts which make voting more difficult to do. That is the much bigger problem.

The number of people affected by voter ID laws, long lines, lack of early voting, and limited voting hours far, far, far, outweighs the at best few hundred cases of voter fraud.

When are these Democrats going to learn that if they don't want to wait in long lines then get off the couch and go vote before the Republicans get off work?

Even in the larger towns and cities. Apparently these other places just aren't very organized. I am not understanding the problem here. You walk in show your ID, they check it against the voter rolls, you sign your name, get your ballot , go vote, and stick the ballot in the machine on your way out the door. This just isn't that complicated, it takes about five minutes AT THE MOST to pull this off. So these places having these lines just aren't doing a very good job.

If they are using polling booths, or electronic voting stations...well there is your problem right there. Paper ballots and markers are all you need, simple and efficient.

It is for Democrats it seems. Apparently having to show up at the courthouse once every four years is a huge pain in the ***.

I remember seeing in Ohio or some other midwestern state where some counties closed their polls at 6, while others in more republican districts stayed open until 8 or 9.

There were far more people dissuaded from voting than there were instances of people voting twice.

Voter fraud didn't cost Romney the election. Romney cost himself the election.

I really don't see the issue with electronic voting. I take that back, I see the problem when they're run by people that can't use a universal remote. Damn old people.
