Waaay Too Early 2013 Recruiting Team Rankings Finish

  • xxmgobluexx said...

OSU won't have the #'s to finish #2, unless Meyer somehow opens up room.

How many will tOSU bring in? I can see Meyer running off players to create space for a full class.

Kids like Ray Small maybe, but there he has to walk the fine line between being strict and lenient when it comes to crime. Hopefully it doesn't happen as much here in C-bus.

Yeh no idea what his problem is, some guys just have sticks up their behinds for no reason. You were answering the question, and he went off for no reason.

I want to apologize, mriderblue12, for derailing this thread by posting an arbitrary comment to a rival SEC fan. It was all in good fun. I'll send GeorgiaDawgs804 an electronic fruitbasket to make him feel better.

Not much man in the final stretch of exams, done real soon. What up with you?

Yeh man, our schedule is tougher than last year that's for sure. lol

I think we will be better with a worse record, as tough as it is to be patient that's what I am trying. Michigan is just not very deep or particularly talented in the trenches, for us to win tough games consistently that needs to change which it is IMO.

Games are all winnable, but losable in the same token. Especially on the road, where Michigan was 2-2 last year.

Can't fricken wait until September (and November obviously) this schedule will be a lot of fun to watch.

You severly overrate how good the Big Ten is as a whole. The conference is not very good right now to say the least. Michigan will compete for a Big Ten title next year, whether they win it is something that we will have to wait and see on.

They have like 14-15 spots open run now. Their writers think it will end up around 20. How they get there, I have no idea.

    Top 10 I got:

    1)UF
    2)OSU
    3)Bama
    4)Texas
    5)Michigan
    6)UGA
    7)FSU
    8)Auburn
    9)Clemson
    10)LSU
    11)ND

Edit: moved Clemson to nine and added ND at the end.

Clemson always seems to get some guys at the end and finish up there, especially this year with shots at guys like RN and MA.

UGA could take 33 kids they'll be higher.

    1- Alabama
    2- Florida
    3- Michigan
    4- Ohio State
    5- Florida State
    6- Georgia
    7- Texas
    8- Notre Dame
    9- Auburn

    10- South Carolina
11- Miami ( could be higher, could be lower.... depends on NCAA )
12- USCw ( would be higher but I believe they can only sign 15 right ? either way they will have a great class )
    13- I don't care anymore

There is my best guess at a way too early rankings come NSD, but these are the main players imho for the top 15/race for #1 and how its gonna shape up in the end.... or in other words, the usual suspects

LSU will be top 10 team.

I only feel good about the top 3. Massington stays in Big 12 country if you ask me.

If USC offers he's theirs. If not LSU/Michigan.

Haha, no need man. Now that I know you were just messing around, it's all good. I was just a little taken aback at first. Take care, hoping for a good game this year.

Last year FSU finished was #2 and UGA #6 with just 19.

USC's 18 man class could easily finish in the top 5 this year. By the end of the year it should have a minimum of 3 5 stars and the rest 4-stars.

agreed think you guys are for sure top 10 probably top 5. Think you'll have the highest average per player.

Smith is all ND at this point. Pocic could surprise some, I think he likes Illinois more than he lets on, plus his brother plays there.

You're more confident than I am.

I expect Notre Dame to be a top 8 recruiting class. We have a lot of spots due to transfers and small recruiting classes.

As things stand today we're looking at a class of 21, not exactly huge.

  • Bama, USC, UF, tOSU, Texas in no order.

Bama 1, and I won't be able to pinpoint but there are a bunch of toss up games, Michigan will lose at least 1 of them probably 2.

    @ND, @OSU, @Neb, vs MSU.

I'd lean to @tOSU, and @Neb being the most likely losses out of those 4. We could literally lose against any of those teams, or beat them. Just don't see Michigan winning 4 toss up games.

da eff dude, "tOSU". way too much respect! "OSU" if you don't want to to troll with "ohio", take the "t" out.

  • Texas

    Bama
    UGA

    Top five no order

    USC
    OSU
    FSU
    ND
    Auburn/LSU/Clemson

Rest of the top ten between these teams. First three could sneak into top five. UGA and FSU will sign big classes.

We can compete for a B1G title and go 10-2 or 9-3 very easily depending on who we beat.

I don't think B1G is all that strong, I just don't think we are all that good. Our lines are painfully thin, and compared to last year we don't have many differences makers. RVB, Molk, and Martin were all monsters last year.

The OL will be fine. We just need Denard and Barnum (or whoever ends up at OC) to work on cleaning up the exchanges under center. The biggest questions right now are at DL and WR and, frankly, every team in the country has some questions to answer between now and September. We will be fine by the time B10 play rolls around. IMO it will come down to us and Nebraska in the Legends Division this year, with the winner headed to Pasadena.
