Nah just read the outlines for the comics...would rather see the show and then catch up with the comics after. I know its usually the other way around but started watching the show first

That's what I'm going to do, but it seems like a waste of money if you already know the jist of what happens. Probably borrow them from someone or just end up buying them.

I love the new Rick he is a bad ass now. He needs to slap his wife around and beat his boy though they really pissed me off tonight especially Lori she wants Shane dead then acts a b!tch when Rick tells her about it. I loved Rick's speech to the group. I was hoping some of them would quit b!tching and go off on there own and get killed. Rick has had enough though and is not taking any more sh!t.

Lori, Carl, and the other woman who list Sophia are the worst characters. They need to go off. Rick just wants to survive. He could care less about everyone else (except his son)

IMO that's a slight problem with this show... if you haven't read the comics, even though it differs a good bit, it's a quite a bit "WTFI!?!?" for the average viewer. I mean, for those that have that have read, we've seen the prison coming from a mile.

Last night was the first time that I watched "The Talking Dead" after the show, mostly for the "big announcement about Season 3". When I watched the finale last night I thought that Lori was hurt by Rick killing Shane but Glen Mazzara, one of the producers said that Lori was hurt that she had put the two in a lose lose situation. That was definitely not how it came across, as it seemed like she was sad about Shane's departure. Although it drives me crazy, the combination of writing/acting on behalf of Lori has been good because I loathe that woman more than any other character on TV (besides Betty Draper).

I'm wondering what they're going to do with Carl's character. The kid who plays him will be out growing the age his character should be soon. When they offed Sophia I thought he was next.
