    Not sure. I don't venture over often and if I do, I'm reading the staff's info, not the "insiders". Most of those guys are gone anyways. Good riddance too. Got run off with their BS.

    Actually Nova and the rest of the guys bashing our "staff", this is pretty close to perfect.

    We have "insiders" that tell the rest of the homeboard whatever they want to believe and are loved for it. It's a pretty good scam for them. If they get it wrong, the other school cheated to get the signature. Of course the homeboard faithful will buy that with open arms. If they get a recruit right, they are geniuses that knew it before anybody, even though most of us on this board have a pretty good idea where the kid is going anyway.

    The staff however is pretty fvcking solid when it comes to being honest about our chances with recruits.

    Warchant has this. Erienole is the biggest farce insider since that board thought I claimed to be one. If we signed the classes he predicted we'd win every game by 50

    Its not about " bashing " staffs

    Its simply knowing that none of them give you real useful information, its mostly just " so and so is thinking about Bama " or " there is a good chance he visits on the 24th "

    Pretty much none of it is actual information that you need, but for some reason you people hang from it like a tit

    Warchant, BOL, and really any site you will read... they all are the same thing for the most part, just random nuggets that don't really tell you much and at the end of the day its all just guessing about where a kid will land

  • Listening to the "insiders" on BOL is retarded. If you didn't learn your lesson form the Cam situation you never will. The truth of it all is, the main insiders used to get very real and legit info under the Shula regime and down. Information was available from the higher ups and they would talk about recruiting, player development, etc, with these guys and they would come on TI and old BOL and pass it off. It was very good info. But after Saban got here, he kicked all those people out and the info dried up. These guys no longer had any contacts. Well, that wasn't going to work for a few that needed their egos padded online everyday so they started reaching and lying. They would make informed guesses, but in actuality, they didn't know anymore than the guys who read the boards and articles did. I could do the same and say it was "what I was hearing". My favorite is when a guy says "he just got off the phone with his source". Embarrassing. But they were exposed and died a very slow and painful death. I had enough during the Cam crap and called them on it. Believe it or not, there are still more than few over there who didn't learn from it and still listen to those guys when they show up.

    Agreed, but you could just be like me and not really care what any of them think cause they are guesses just like yours or mine

    Its like people forget they are professionals at breaking down a prospect and what he brings to the field, they aren't professional guessers of where kids will attend college

    Also there are very few who actually blow smoke on purpose, its just how the internets react to them making their predictions that cause this perception

    At the end of the day these site guys are just followers of recruiting just like you or I, they have no special power that allows them to predict better than we do

    For example I will listen and read JC's write up on a state final game, but if he starts declaring where a kid might land in mid november ? I stop reading
