I didn't see anyone use that as an excuse for Michigan losing to 'Bama. It was more, "they're a whole lot better than us" which is the truth.

I can understand that getting old as an excuse for losing to Southern teams (especially when the admission standards among public schools for Div 1 athletes are practically the same), but I honestly don't remember any Michigan fans doing so when we lost to y'all. I may be wrong.

Personally I want a strong Michigan and will root for them in any non conference game.

Please. How long have you posted on these boards? That has been the company line for the Big 10 for the better part of a decade. It goes all the way back to Ohio State getting destroyed by two SEC teams. They tried to pull the same crap. So did ND even though they are not in your conference. It will happen next year too.....and the year after that......and the year after that.

Congrats on getting Green. As much as Ohio State fans want Michigan to lose at everything they do, we really need Michigan to be good if we want the B1G to stop being considered a joke. He should be a good back (don't sleep on Deveon Smith either, as I think he could have a good career) and have a good shot to see the field from day 1.

Well to put all the cards on the table are staff did tell him not to visit and that his position was filled. With that said I think that was more of a needs issue not anything with Greens talent / potential. I think Green is a great fit for UM and UM is a great fit for green.
