What makes you think that? Alabama's National Title winning team only beat Penn State by 16. I highly doubt that this Alabama team will play at a higher level than last years. It will be a close game, although I think that Bama will pull away towards the end, I wouldn't get my hopes up for a blowout.

Honest question for Michigan fans:

Why do you guys jerk yourselves off so much over getting to the Sugar Bowl last year, as if doing so, was proof that you were better than MSU?

MSU and UM finished with the same regular season record, except MSU had a tougher strength of schedule, beat UM head-to-head, and won the Legends Division. Yet UM went to a BCS bowl over MSU. That should tell you all you need to know about the credibility of the BCS at-large selection process. Just call it for what it is -- you benefited from a process that values money and name recognition over on-field accomplishments. Hey, it's a perk you guys get to enjoy, I get that, but at least own it for what it is. The national media certainly did, as that game was roundly mocked and criticized before and after it was played. EVERYBODY knew neither team deserved to be there; it was laughable. And despite the fact MSU played in a "lesser" bowl, they still got the chance to face and beat a better team, in what turned out to be a much more enjoyable game.

And let's face it, the only reason you were even eligible for a BCS bowl is because you didn't even get the opportunity to get pummeled by Wisconsin in Indy. And why was that? Oh, because you lost to MSU.

I guess in hindsight you guys should be thanking your lucky stars that we kicked your ass.

8 months later and sparty is still crying about it. Bottom line for MSU, don't lose to Wisconsin, and don't get rolled by Nebraska or Notre Dame and then you can talk. As it stands, MSU didn't qualify because they weren't good enough.

Yeah, I like how Sparty jumped on this post. They are definitely enjoying their time in the Sun before Hoke's top 5 classes are on campus and we beat the crap out of them.

I don't know why you guys are under the impression that MSU is going to magically disappear just because Hoke is recruiting well. It's actually possible for both programs to be good at the same time. Crazy concept, I know.

You'd better seriously hope that Dantonio, Narduzzi and co., suffer amnesia and completely forget how to develop talent overnight. That's the only way MSU goes away anytime soon.

xxmgo appears to be so irritated and sore about losing to MSU that he refuses to even fully acknowledge that it happened.

Say it aloud with me;

Two teams met. One team had twice as many points as the other when the game ended. When the fans of said teams talk, this is as far as the discussion needs to go.

The simple fact is that your team forfeited your right to any further discussion when they were flat out handled on national TV. You could have the most valid point in the world (don't worry, you don't), but your right to say it has been taken away.

If I were you, I'd be mad at the players who gave that right away so willy nilly. I mean, they're even saying now that they didn't come to play (aka - weren't ready to try really hard) and didn't play Michigan football (which, of course, is ridiculous, somebody seems to say daily that they are Michigan).

You lost to the worse Buckeye team in a long time. Any argument you have is invalid. By the way, how about you win one of those Rose Bowls and stop making the league look bad. Oh, you want to mention Ohio State's record in Championship games? Go ahead. We have more national championships in the last 20 years than you, we have more rose bowl wins than you in the last 20 years and we lead the series between the two teams overall...as does Michigan. A program I respect unlike Wisconsin. The B1G is run by Ohio State and Michigan (Penn State used to be part of the trinity but recent developments has their membership to the B1G trinity pending). Wisconsin is a nice story now but you will fade to irrelevancy soon. Ohio State and Michigan always have been winners and always will be. Suck it Badger.

No matter what the NCAA says they've won more championships than that. I still claim the win over Arkansas in the Sugar Bowl.

When your team sucks that bad what else are you going to do??

We have more championships period than Wisky but he only wants to acknowledge everything since 1990.
