  • If Miles hires a good OC and actually lets him do his job, LSU could easily win another MNC.. As of now, Miles has WAY to much control of the offense.. Him and Coach Stud just don't know how to coach an offense, it's like having Tony Sparano as our OC.

    If he brought in a guy like Norv Turner (just throwing a big name out there) and let him coach like he lets Chavis coach the D.. We'll be all gravy... BUT, Miles is to loyal.. So much that it's to a fault.

    Until ol' Les fires Stud and hires an OC, and gives him full control of the O... We will crap the bed more and more every season.

    I can't believe I made this thread.. Just had an undefeated regular season last year and was 1 minute away from beating Bama and being in the MNC game.

    We're some spoiled fans but anyone with half of a brain can see that a change on offense is vital and HAS to happen for LSU to be successful again.

    This is spot on. Les is just not a gameday coach. He's not, and there's no way to get around it. He needs to let someone else take control of the offense, playcalling, and offensive game preparations. Not to rub salt in a wound, but this is two years in a row that Les has not had his offense prepared in the bowl game. It's crazy to me to think they had that much time and came up with this gameplan. Run the ball Les. Hilliard is one of the best RB's in the country and you don't let him touch it in the 4th quarter? How does that happen?

    LSU should have won this game easily. But Les' inability to make decisions and his game planning ruined it. Go get an OC who knows what he's doing. He doesn't have to be a huge name, just someone who is a good play caller and QB developer. Stay with running the football and being physical. Or maybe I should say, get back to doing that. That is what makes LSU an elite team.
