Is it just me, or are all the people that think the rich people are being picked on and unfairly burdended the same people that are always on the religious side of all our tBB debates? Aren't you guys supposed to want to store all your treasure up in heaven and not on earth? Give all your stuff away to the poor and such? Ask yourself, WWJD? After all, give to Ceasar what is Ceasar's.

After reading this post I now realize how flawed my religious beliefs are. Thank you sir for helping me see the light. Sarcasm, properly applied, is what will finally rid this world of those damn religious people...I mean Christians rather, don't want to be all racist and lump all the other religions in there too.

Let me put it to you this way, in the liberal mind the most powerful being in the Universe is Barack Obama. Seriously. He is the most powerful man in the world and there is no God according to them, so he is it. And we wonder why they seem so bitter all the time.

I've answered this question multiple times for multiple different people, so instead, I'll ask this: what have you done to help your fellow man with your personal assets?

Let's see
a) tithe to a church that gives out over 75% of it's tithing to missions
b) Was a Young Life leader for 10 years working with high school students in Houston, which included dinners, movies, sporting events all paid for by me.
c) Taken part in several 3rd world mission trips to drill fresh-water wells
d) Helped men study for their GEDs in a ministry that would help men overcome their addictions and become fathers and husbands again.
e) Donated time and effort to multiple ministries in the Houston area focusing on abuse centers, handicapped kids, families who lives were destroyed by hurricane Rita and tropical storm Allison
f) volunteered to help the immigrants from NO after Katrina

and so much more. I know I came from a blessed life, and I want to help those that earnestly need it. I don't expect others to do it, nor do I believe they should be forced to through a shitty tax system that threatens incarceration.

Then you do something personally about it. Don't force others through the threat of incarceration to support programs that are woefully mismanaged through a system that cares only about the power it yields to subjugate everyone else not in the protected governmental class.

Even assuming that not a single conservative is an atheist, only approximately 16-20% of Americans identify as unaffiliated with any religion.

Given that Barack Obama won the presidential election with 51% of the vote, we can assume that approximately 50% of the US population could classify as "liberal."

Therefore, at most, 2/5 of American "liberals" are unaffiliated with religion.

Just saw on the news that gas in Venezuela is $0.02 per gallon. Someone wanna tell me why it's $3.50 here when the price per barrel is $90 yet it was the same price when it was $120?
