A "possibility?" Fine. But, you also have to admit it is a possibility that Michigan wins. Neither of those things is likely though.
The Bama OL might be the best in the country. They are good, but they are still an OL and they still have weaknesses. Do you think bama is getting 5 yards a carry or more on each carry all season against every team. Michigan's DL will be as "technically sound" as any other Bama faces, so it is unlikely they look like the Middle Tenn State line that you seem to be describing.

It's a possibility that the game stays somewhat close on the scoreboard and Bama wins. There is the tiniest of possibilities that Michigan wins the game.
I did't say Michigan would look like Middle Tenn St or not have their technique down. I don't think you have the horses up front to hang physically. Is William Campbell going to finally live up to hype? Are Black and Brink big enough to hold their ground or get penetration? Is Craig Roh strong enough to hold the edge? How about Beyer? I don't see it man. LSU has speedy ends that were held in check most of 2 games last season (return 4 starters from last years oline) and they're better than the ones on your roster.
Do you think Bama avg's more than 4.5 yards per carry against Michigan? I do. They did it 9 times last season so it's not that far out of the norm.
What's your take on the backup QB, Gardner? Is he serviceable in the passing game if called upon? How about the RB's- Rawls or Smith? Can they absorb a punishment and hold onto the football? Do they have the ability to break a tackle and take one to the house?
I'm not trying to be arrogant and think we'll steam roll you because we're Bama. I think we're going to steam roll you because our team is better than yours from a physical talent standpoint. We have a team full of #1 recruiting class type players that are competing against some of the best in country just to get on the field. There are players on Bama's sidelines that would start for the majority of the teams out there. Not all teams, but many. Saban is no slouch either. I could be nice and pretend that Michigan has a chance in this one but what good would that do you really? It would just make you more disappointed on Sep 1st.

I would also be remiss if I didn't point out that Center is not the same position as Tackle. They are very different. Center is a much more cerebral position. Michigan moved a guy over from Guard who was very accustomed to the center spot. He is called a "natural center."

To answer some questions, Campbell is better this year, but how good, we do not know. He should be able to hang physically though, his problem has been more about technique. THAT is how important technique is compared to strength. Keep that in mind on the next set few comments.
Black is definitely quick enough to get penetration. he might be SLIGHTLY on the small side, but his speed could easily make up for it. OL generally have the hardest time with speed DL. THAT is one of the reasons the SEC has done so well recently....the speed of their front 7. Brink is probably going to be a back-up and we can run the 2 deep later if you want.
Roh is strong. I know that the coaches say the outside of our defense is going to be fine. I think if bama has to run outside the tackles alot, Michigan will be in a very good position on the scoreboard.
I would also be remiss if I didn't point out that Center is not the same position as Tackle. They are very different. Center is a much more cerebral position. Michigan moved a guy over from Guard who was very accustomed to the center spot. He is called a "natural center." How about Bama's switch? Are there going to be missed snaps and assignments? That probably didn't happen much late last year to Bama.
Gardner will be more a factor while catching than passing.
Aside from the usual issues (for each team) of who replaces whom and how talented is that kid, you should also be aware of two significant differences from last year that effect most of the Michigan players:
1. They have started to internalize the playbook. they can expect a jump in speed on offense and defense from not having to "think" so much out there. This is something above and beyond the typical improvement you see from one year to the next with returning guys.
2. The strength staff has moved away from RichRod's svelte speed look. The players are being coached to be stronger and bigger than they were under the previous regime. It is less likely that the team suffers from getting "pushed around" IF their technique fails. it is more than just overall weight gain. It is strength too. They will be more bruising throughout the roster.
Rawls is apparently Ingram 2.0 according to his coaches. he will run through you. Hopkins too. We don't rely on scatbacks and slot receivers as much any more.

NCSU vs UT.... Tough one, but I will go with coaching and Obrien is a very good one. 30-27 or smething like that
Aub v CU ..... I think Aub as CU is going to rake against weaker teams putting up massive numbers but weak lines will make them more pedestrian versus quality teams. Aubbie is a year or two away from peaking again, but still very solid team
Mich v Bama.... No contest. Hoke is doing wonderful job, but they dont match versus the elite yet
