Ha, I wish.
As an actual recipient, well ex recipient since getting a job that makes over 8 an hour will basically disqualify you, its no fun at all. People act like you get thousands a month in assistance are hilarious, you barely get enough to live by, and definitely not enough to own an high end car.

I would say a very great majority on it, actually need it.
You show me a person who is abusing it and I'll show you ten who aren't. It's a shame that so many put down those who get it without even trying to understand why they get it or what their circumstances are. You always hear about the one person who owned an iPhone (I can nearly ensure that they sure as heck didn't get it from welfare money) but never about the single mom with two children, who even with assistance, can't even afford a car to get to work.

Oh, I agree, that's why I said some, it always happens like that, though, with anything, the minority tends to shed a bad perception on the majority. It's the same way with radicals and religion, the minority(Islamic extremists), give the majority(the rest who follow Islam) a bad name, that's just an example.

Just annoys I suppose, because of a very few morons, it sheds a bad light on the rest of it. I would gladly trade jobs where I have to pay a lot of taxes but I can afford a decent house and a decent car instead of getting assistance and having to live in the worst parts of town and always fearing for your and your family safety. It sucks but it's a vicious cycle that is hard to get out of. Heck I married a woman who most of her family is middle class and not a single one likes me because I grew up poor and they (like a lot on this forum, not you in particular) just assumed a whole bunch of bs. It's not fun when someone automatically assumes you are a no good lazy bum just because you are on assistance, and not many are willing to give you a chance to prove otherwise.
