QB sucks (and is hurt), OL can't pass block, and they have no WRs. Sounds like a lot of wildcat for the Scar O this year.

Yeah they are screwed even if Shaw is ok. He's hot garbage and has no weapons not named Marcus. Georgia and UF and Tennessee will all beat this team. Folks will just put 8 in the box.
That and USCjr is the first team to officially find out all the "this team is in tremendous shape" updates were bogus. There's always about 10 teams that find out those updates were total lies and USCjr is on the list this year.

I imagine the most frustrating thing for them is that their DL looked incredibly out of shape late in the half. There's just no reason for that.

Yeah, I just posted in the UT/NCSt SoCar/Vandy thread. Should have brought it here because it was mostly game specific...No reason at all for that.

I dunno, but SC looks terrible right now. I picked Vandy to make it a game, as well as to have another bowl season. However, I've been looking at their linemen, and they look like they've been on an ex-lax diet for about 6 months. In other words, Vandy might stay in line for 6 wins but it will be strictly from having a lot of guts, b/c their lines are going to get crushed in most games.
SC better wake up. I noticed Reece saying they looked out of shape, and damned if they don't. It's like they just showed up for fall camp, practiced, and did a few wind sprints after. Nobody should be gassed in the first game, in the 2nd Quarter vs. Vandy's mini-me offensive line. Lattimore is good, but looks to be playing slow...maybe still afraid of the knee. Shaw can run okay, but their receivers are all waist high to Terry Bowden. I now think GA and UF both beat them, unless they get their shit together really, really fast.

Damn, the Ole Ball coach hasn't had a good offense since his UF days.
If you would've told me that USCe would have a way better D than O under Spurrier for 6 years, I would've called you an idiot.
Props to Vandy so far... Franklin is going places.

If they didn't have a reasonable conditioning program in the offseason, they might not win 3 SEC games and prob lose to Clemson. I mean, they could turn out to be good, but I'm literally shocked to see that from what should be a fairly elite defense. You know you look bad when Mark Richt starts laughing.

It's gotta be the uni's caus their entire defense looks huge/fat. Clowney is huge already so he gets a pass.

Agree. Franklin seems like a good coach. He needs to reign in Rogers a little (takes too many chances), but he's got them playing decent football.

I usually take these early games with a grain of salt, but it is inexcuseable to be out of shape at the beginning of the season. LSU will crush them.
