  • For the most part Saban just sells the incredible product that is Bama football but when he needs to make a last minute play, all cards are on the table.

    Jimbo will get there, he just needs seasoning.

  • Hell be back to NT at the end of the spring. Move is experimental. If anything it's helping him think like an OL so he can use an OL knowledge to his advantage.

    I really don't see him staying on the OL.

    Jimbo does not need to lie to recruits to sell them on the university. From a lot of the updates I have read from recruits, and hearing Jimbo speak he tells recruits like it is most of the time.

    Kids a true freshman. We experiment people at different positions all the time. It's mainly
    to build depth.

    Had a back up OG take a shot to the head. With him not being able to practice for several day Alabama only had 9 scholarship lineman. Probably just using him so Fridays scrimmage can have a full 2nd team line.

    All other reports from spring indicate that he will be a player at NG down the line.

    ya, like watching 5 first round draft pics this year and 9 in 2 years...2 bcs titles in 3 years...or i can follow 'damueyene' craig to fsu...lose 4-5 games a year...play at wake and duke (and lose to wake)...at 11 am on raycom regional tv...add the attendance at the wake and duke games...add 40 thousand...and you have the Bama spring game attendance.
    Man that Saban is a liar. Can't figure out why an instate kid from mobile would choose Bama over fsu...shocking!

    It's because it's true. Saban does this with a lot of players. Everyone believes AT will end up at DT. Saban even stated in his press conference that there was a lot experimental moves made.

  • This happens nearly everywhere. tOSU lost a recruit bc they wanted him at CB and Illinois told him he could play WR like he wanted. Low and behold, 2-3 years later Illinois moved him to CB haha

  • The kid just wanted to play for Bama even if Shula was still the coach. Tough to get kids out of Alabama but Coach Craig is doing a great job. Casher is a steal.

    I didn't downvote you but maybe you get downvoted because you insinuated that AT was going to be moved to Guard. That's not happening. It only happened to make our numbers right for spring practice. He's a DT all the way. But downvotes are dumb.

    It might not be permanent now but an injury or two and it could be... Fact is Bama offered the chance to play DT and FSU didn't...

    This is identical to the James Wilder Jr situation.. FSU offered as a RB most IR not all offered as a LB....
