What Is Wide Receiver U?

I wouldn't count Hester but Miami is WRU, there is no debate needed

Miami is everything U. They invented football!

Hell Hankerson will end up being better than any gator outside of Percy (maybe).

That Hester guy wasn't chopped liver either.

In all fairness, Hester didn't go to the NFL for his receiving ability, I wouldn't really count him as a WR. That'd be like us counting Denard in the ranks of QBs that we've sent to the NFL.

He played WR at Miami though (along with returning kicks) and he still plays WR for the Bears. That's not why he is a HOF'er but he still sees plenty of reps there every Sunday.

Golden is better then Jimbo... I feared it was true. He is going to hoist a crystal ball there - fsufsu

He also played DB at Miami for a year or 2 IIRC

Success in the NFL shouldn't be much of a factor (when selecting great college players)imo

Wut, that doesn't even make sense brah

That would have been Sam Shields playing WR for the first few years... They tried Hester in some games in the secondary but that was a Deion situation (opposite) playing both sides.

Yeah but bottom line is he never really did anything at WR

His best season was 326 yards and 3 TD's his sophomore year

  • Brian Mitchell has nearly 24,000 all purpose yards, Hester doesn't even crack 10,000

And you think if Mitchell hasn't gotten in that Hester will ? not sure I follow that logic

Mitchell has 10,000 more KR yards, and dominates him in PR yards too... the only difference is Hester has a few more TD returns

No way in hell Hester gets into the HOF, unless Mitchell makes it first

Also Hester never had more than 2000 all purpose yards in a season, Mitchell passed 2000 4 times including going over 2300 3 times

Mitchell owns Hester, both in longevity and all around football talent

Hester is also profoundly retarded and barely speaks english

He was smart enough to get Shapiro to buy him an engagement ring for his hoe..Miami followed by Ohio St. IMO.. Think he's going back way to far, needs to go back 10 years at the most..

Yes, that is all... and almost 15,000 yards less all purpose... Im sure the votes just disregard that though huh ?

Hester has 1 more KR and 3 more PR

If you think just 4 more TD's is the difference between getting into the HOF and not getting into the HOF you are far more homer than I ever gave you credit for

Hester is more than likely not getting in, mainly cause he sucks on offense and Mitchell didn't ( reminding you that Mitchell isn't even in the HOF )

Mitchell actually contributed to his team on offense too, Hester not so much considering he is too stupid to learn a simple route tree

I mean think about Lamp, he has almost 15,000 less all purpose yardage and you have the balls to call Hester the GOAT ? are you this homer on purpose or truly retarded ?

Miami has had some good ones ?

Wayne and Johnson alone are better than anything UF has produced, ever

Both in college and in the NFL, and this doesn't even include guys like Irvin, Moss, Thomas and on the list goes

    Hard to argue my ass

  • No mention of Texas Tech which produced three of the top wide receivers in the NFL, two of whom went undrafted. (Michael Crabtree, Wes Welker, Danny Amendola).

  • Crabtree is the truth...you can keep Amendola and Welker both are a tad overrated imo
