What are some Teams that will win MNC and Teams that will fall.

  • And reasons why In my opinion it will happen.

    1. USC - Kiffen will be a great coach for USC and he is one of the best recruters in the nation. He has a confidence in himself that players get from playing for that coach. Look what the man is doing while USCw is on one of the toughest probationary periods ever...

    2. Michigan- Hoke is a great coach so far and he has an easy conferance to go through with excellent recruting.. Same confidence as Kiffen But he reminds me of Saban in a way. Tough guy. My favorite coach other than Saban.

    3. Florida - Muschamp will turn that program from its girly ways and win at the highest level. He is great at seeing talent even when its a 3 star he has an eye for it. Just like his style and that he is turning Florida into an respectable program again.

I Like Confident Coach's and QB's cause most of the time they are great or strive to be great. not Talking about the fake confidence like Urban Meyers.

Team that will be better but will not win a MNC

    1. Vandy- Great coach and an great recruiter. Has his team believing they can win and has a confidence in himself that players will feed off of.

    Teams that fall the most-

    1. Arkansas- Petrino-

    2. Ohio State- Meyer- Soft and he lets the players run the program

    3. Oregon- Probation and USC will start stealing some of there talent.

    5. Oklahoma State- other teams will be halfway decent this year and will stomp them.

    6. Stanford- No more Andrew Luck or Jim Harbaugh.

    Maybe

    Miami- Probation

Auburn... if they dont hurry up and hire an head coach.

Anybody else got any? Or anyone disagree? And Why?

I disagree on Muschamp and Kelly.

Muschamp came in with a lot of hype, but so far the results have been meh. And one of his first big tests was hiring a staff and he hired Charlie Weis. Sorry, but my seven year old nephew wouldn't have made that mistake. I will believe he wins a natty when I see it.

Kelly has been knocking on the door of a natty since his first year as HC. He has the most innovative and creative offense in the country and he plays in a relatively weak league (the same one as USC). If you have Kiffen on this list, I don't see how you can leave Kelly off. He has won the P12 three years in a row and I wouldn't bet against him to win it again this year.

Bama fans love Boomer because they know if he wins something they can claim it for their own as another title since he once coached with Saban.

I told you why i like him.
I hate Jimbo Fisher. I mean was he purposely lossing so Bobby would be shown the door? If not why is he all of a sudden recruiting lights out? Also he was getting his players for his offense for how long before he got the head job and look at where his offense is right now.. Seems kinda odd to me. Please explain.
He is not a head coach IMO.

Well Charlie was a great OC at one point. Still is. The Talent Florida has on the OL is holding them back. Also that team Lacks discipline like Alabamas team when Saban first got here. I will be the first one to admit i am wrong but i think he will be a great coach.

Kelly- You are right about but i still think USC will hurt them really really bad in the coming years. Not to mention if they get on probation he will be fired..

  • I know I will probably regret this question since you seem like the typical bammer idiot, but why does Auburn need tp hurry up an hire a new coach? Our current coach already has one national championship and has finished ahead of expectations every single year

Charlie was a great NFL OC, but he didn't translate so well to college. The NFL and college games are extremely different. Muschamp could have had any number of top tier, proven OCs at the college level and instead he chose Weis. That decision was, at best, a huge risk. At worst, it was just dumb.

I am not positve but i could have sworn that Muschamp Wanted someone else other than him at first but he was pretty much forced to get him by the AD or someone high up. I wish some gator fans would tell me if that was true. If not what school was it.

might have been Auburn and Their old OC. Dont remember.
But i still think he was a good -play caller-. Just didn't have anything like a Pro system at Florida. Don't understand why you think he was an bad OC. He is a bad head coach though.
A big part of the college game is motivating the players to work out and strive to get better and make them feel like they can win and Charlie didn't have that. But Will Muschamp does and i think he could have helped him out with that.

hiring weis after the yr he just had w/ the chiefs wasnt too dumb imo but it was when we saw the offense in action last yr no denying that but the players he had to work with was about as bad UF has had in 30 yrs

You're absolutely right about Meyer. He is so soft that he only won two national championships at Florida. no

Take the hater glasses off and recognize he knows what he is doing. OSU will definitely be a contender in the weak Big Ten every year, so to say they will "fall" because of Meyer is just dumb.

I hate Saban, but I respect that he is a hell of a coach, and I think you should do the same with Meyer.

I try to like Meyer i swear.. I just don't respect a man that has a once in a lifetime playmaker and wins then once he is gone his offense goes to crap so does his winning % and he has health problems and he cant coach anymore in the SEC. He retires.
He is better now though he is at Ohio State.

Meyer won a BCS title with Chris Leak as his QB. I wouldn't call Chris Leak a once in a lifetime playmaker.

Your opinion is yours and it's fine but why did it work with Chris Leak, Alex Smith or Josh Harris? You don't think Braxton Miller can run his offense? I'm just curious? We did fine (last year excluded) without a offensive game plane or identity for years.

They have no talent on offense at all. Our recruiting is just as good as theirs, yet we are going to suck and they'll be good? Yeah that makes sense. He isn't a head coach, he acts like Trooper Taylor on steroids.

Meyer has been a winner everywhere he's been. Meyer won his first national title in 2006 with Chris Leak running the show. Tebow basically just came in for short yardage situations, and that offense looked fine (trust me, as an OSU fan I am very aware of how good that offense was).

Meyer's biggest problem at Florida was his high turnover of qualitity assistant coaches. Brantley was also not meant to run what that offense had developed into with Tebow.

Braxton Miller is the dual-threat Meyer needs, and with the defense he is building I think OSU will be a title contender within the next few years.

Except they are developing TALENT. Auburn has talent i am not saying that. Just not enough. All of your talent has either left or been injured or not panned out. The whole point of a program is to develope talent. Think about it. 4 years in and what do you guys have other than those mentioned? Thats how you get a strong experienced team with depth and talent. All of yours has not developed that greatly. IMO How do you think Boise State does what they do???????? They don't recruite 5 stars but they have depth and they know how to develope what they have into 5 stars. Gene... Not so much. JMO. Do you understand what i am saying Sir?

    That said i really like
    LB- Cory LEminer (sp)?
TE- Phillip luchinkerkin (sp)? Would be a starter at Bama IMO
