What do you consider the south?

I love how people who have never been to florida streotype about our state. If you have ever been down to Florida you would see that we do a lot of the same things as other southeners, and that is including parts of South Florida and Central Florida. Not all Floridians are from the north and love surfing and hair gel like some of you think.

I've lived in GA and Alabama most of my life and been to Florida hundreds of times and for the most part it just doesn't have that southern feel. Too many immigrants and carpetbaggers =P

the only good thing about Florida is Urban Meyer used to live there and MJD (fantasy beast)

Agreed, I separated them from Deep South and South, but mine has Virginia at least.

I know. I clearly stated WV is a northern state, and obviously southeastern Ohio is as well. We just live southern lifestyles.
Florida is in the south, but they get excluded because they don't live the southern lifestyle. How can a state that lives the southern lifestyle be excluded?

Right on. Florida does not = Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and West Palm Beach (Thank you Jesus IMHO). Though I do love surfing, it's better in north and central Florida anyways. Perhaps the south = areas where sweet tea and grits are common. F that nestea, unsweet and raspberry tea sh!t.

Ft. Lauderdale was one of my least favorite places on earch. Filled with assholes, old people, and yankees.

I have never to the southern part of Florida but know a lot of people who have. I prefer to stay in north to central Florida since it is cheaper to live in these areas, and I am used to these areas because I have either lived or been around those areas my whole life.
