Take a look into the Mazda CX-7. I think they might be similar in size. Just to give you more options. I think they are rated well.

Will do. Don't know too much about Mazda. Haven't really ever talked to anyone who has one. Do you?

Because people aren't on here saying stupid stuff about the SEC or B1G or any other conference or team. It's also devoid of bashing of individual posters or races.

Best all around vehicle we ever had and its not even close. You'll be amazed at the power that thing has. I love the new design direction their going with as well.

We just ended a lease on our RAV4. It was the 2009 Sport with Sport package (no tire on the back door). We loved it, except for the runflats. The runflats suck ass. My husband thought it was a rocket ship. With 2 car seats we needed more room, so we got an Acadia, but if my husband could have bought out the lease and kept it for himself, he would have.

Oh, and it has a cool super bowl commercial this weekend.

With your Tahoe, how do you wash it? I have a black SUV too and am wanting to begin hand washing it, but everything I look up says to use a certain cloth, then the next guy says the opposite.

Still drive a '99 QX4, haven't had to touch the engine or trans since I got it in '06. Break pads on mine wear pretty quickly and I feel it needs realignment more than it should but that's probably due to nearly all my miles being congestion/city miles. I'd certainly buy another infinite in the future, the wood dash has faded a little but the leather hasn't shown any wear or signs of cracking and the stock bose system still sounds great, you can tell it was a nice car at one point in time.

We have the CX-9. It is bigger. 3rd row. The CX-7 is the smaller vesion. No 3rd row. I would make sure you do your homework. Lots of choices out there. Good luck with your search. bike

The one I had before, also black, I just used one of those fuzzy mitt things, would go through about 5 in a year, to wash the sides, back and hood, and a long handled car wash brush for the top. Then I dried it with those drying cloths, you know the ones made out of that kinda weird material, feels almost rubbery? The key for me was drying it very good, it doesn't matter what use to wash it, but I wouldn't use a brush where people can see because it could leave marks from the bristles. And of course be sure to wash the soap off really good before you dry. Black paint can be a real ***** though, if you don't take your time.

  • 1996 Civic, just passed 190K last week. If I could buy a brand new version of the same car I would. I hate using mirrors and the car has way more windows than the rest of the cars my family drive. It would be nice if the windows, locks and that jazz worked though.

    Damn. lol

My Grandma has a 1995 Toyota Corolla that has only -- get this -- 40,000 miles. The only time she drives the car is when she needs to go to the grocery store (no less than a mile away) or the hospital (about 5 miles away) for check-ups.

Mint condition too I bet. Lol, that's funny stuff, somebody is going to get a hell of a deal on a car if she ever sales it.

  • 2012 GMC Sierra Z71 and my 1979 Jeep CJ-7

Truck gets terrible gas mileage. I get around 13 in the city even though the sticker said 17 in the city. Very smooth ride though.

The Jeep is a 3 speed stick with manual steering. Doesn't take turns very well but it is fun as hell to drive. Can't wait for another month or so and I'll put the bikini top on it.

Nice. My Mom has a '98 Honda Accord. Just got to 80,000 miles. A buddy of mine has a used car business, and he is really wanting her to go thru him for next car. nono

2011 Infiniti G37x. Handles well in the snow. Bought it new and at first (up to 20k mi) had some balls. Now, it is still decent, but a little shrinkage (40k mi). Road noise can be drowned out by turning up Bose. Overall 3 out of 5 lux sedan.

Before that, I leased a 2008 FX35. That was a nice ride. Had more balls than above even tho much, much more lbs. Handled like a Mercedes. Went through snow & ice like it was the Bahamas. Overall 4.5 out of 5 SUV cross.

In a year or 2, I will buy a Fx50 or the equiv

What do you mean by the FX35 having more balls? It's the same engine family with the 37 being bigger with 25 more HP. confused

Gobucks, I've enjoyed my 2009 G37XS from day one. I haven't had any real issues - just a few little things fixed under warranty. My dealership would come pick it up and drop off a loaner, so I never went to the dealership except the day I bought it.
