What do you guys think of this CB FSU just offered

  • His first offer. Tall and pretty freakin impressive in shorts and a shirt. Our CB board looks great right now so I doubt we take him before a summer camp but who knows. Others may jump in.

  • Y'all are on the verge of offering Adrian Baker, too, who we just offered the other day. He couldn't commit til he camped, though. I'm sure it'll be the same way with Jimbo/Stoops.

    I'd say each time he was covering someone could have been called PI.

    That's just a first short look at him though. He's got the size and look. Needs to clean up his technique which will come from coaching. He'd be somewhat of a project. It'll mostly come down to how well we do with the guys higher on our board.

    The fact that you don't understand why is alarming. FSU is in a position of power in recruiting. Back to back top 2 classes and far more positive momentum than Miami. Miami just stole half their class from the MEAC, went 6-6, won't do better this year, and have sanctions coming.

    Am I a homer? Much of the time. Are you blind if you think that's the major dynamic at play when we discuss offers? yup

    4 pts from nothing. We were two injuries away from 11-3 with ease as well. It is what it is. And you're class being 8th is a farce only Canes take seriously. If you honestly think that was the 8th best class in America then bless your heart.

    Our five stars weren't panning out under Bobby, we're about to hit the NFL hard in the next 3 classes guaranteed.

    The first three are elite. Flowers through Lockhart are low four stars with flaws in their game/make up. Those are the headliners of a 34 man class. Congrats.

    And Darby over Howard is inaccurate. I agree. But Darby is a freak show and will be amazing in Tally. Luckily we have other elite CB talent so he's not going to start as a Fr........and get burned a lot.

    Film or highlights? It's a huge freakin difference and many think they can see the picture from 30 plays from a kid's season.

    Look at the offer lists. Half your class picked Miami over Wake, Ball State, etc.
