What if I told you

  • Ole Miss would close with the top 3 players in this class and the number 1 class overall? How Butthurt would most of you be?

    Im not saying its going to happen. Just taking notice that the top 3 recruits are all in Oxford this weekend and there was a HUGE party last night on the square where they all partied like rockstars?

    Ole Miss is obviously paying players and that is fine and all, but at the end of the day they aren't coached well and aren't taking over college football anytime soon cause of one class that may or may not do what the OP is talking about

    In fact their fans are obviously not used to success or else they would realize it takes at least 3 and usually 4 or 5 top 10 classes to build a national title contender... Not 1, and all of them will be freshman next year.... then you gotta develop them and keep the majority around for 4 to 5 years... which is much harder than handing kids cash and getting them to take a pen and put it to paper

    Ole Miss will never take over the SEC let alone the the whole country.... its simply impossible imo

    There is a reason why they haven't won shit in.... well, forever

  • I actually couldn't be less butthurt if this ends up happening.

    Rather the players go to Ole Miss and be on average to terrible teams, as opposed to some of the nationally elite teams.

    Shock the world with a bunch of freshman in the SEC ? you can't be that stupid

    Unless of course you are being realistic and you mean going 8-4, cause that would actually shock the world to some degree

    And why would anybody be butthurt ? Ole Miss has been so irrelevant for so long that I don't know anybody that has any kind of hatred for Ole Miss, you have to win to be hated and Ole Miss never wins... personally I would cheer for Ole Miss if they started winning big time games, kind of like Texas A&M this season although they are ten times the football program

    Only Delta Dawg would be butt hurt, him and the other 7 Miss St fans on this planet

  • Do Ole Miss fans really think they can have some miraculous turnaround that results in them being the next SEC West powerhouse? It's too hard for them to compete with the likes of Bama and LSU. If y'all could beat both in the same season I would take note but until then who cares what you do. I'd love for y'all to knock someone off but all you are is a team that will pull an upset every now and then in the West. Nothing more.
