Just some additional quotes regarding your story: (Gamble is the last name of the man who was killed)
"The detective said witnesses told police that Gamble, who had been drinking and twice left the party to buy cocaine, went outside and was pacing back and forth in the parking lot and yelling."
"At some point, he [Gamble] texted his friend a three-word taunt that’s unprintable in this newspaper. Another man from the party went outside and confronted him. Gamble threw the first punch."
Doesn't sound as cut and dry as it seems. Like the Martin case, there's a backstory to everything.

your quote is exactly what is wrong with this country - you see one Updyke on TV, or one issue and you say "we" and include everyone in your region and everyone in ours. that is not right.
this isn't 1864 anymore. and btw, some of the most racist black hating folks i've ever met, were from NY, Boston, and Michigan. and i'm not going to stand here(actually i'm sitting) and say I have never met anyone from the south that didn't like black folks, but honestly, there are a lot of jerks out there that just plain don't like anyone - black, white, red, it doesn't matter to them. but it isn't the majority anymore, you guys and the media and Al Sharpton need to get off that bull crap and get a clue.
