Actually because they can go to four staright BCS Bowls. Go 11-1. Win the Pac for three years in a row and are clearly the best team in the Pac again this year, but the powers that be had us not go to the PACCG. We would beat Stanford if we played them again.
We will beat KSU in the Fiesta Bowl and end up #3 in the nation. Top five for years in a row. I think thats valid reasons why.
As for next year there will be no drop off even if Chip goes to the NFL because his OC Mark Helfrich will take over the HC job and he's going to run an identical system to CK's with a little more passing mixed in because he's a QB coach.
Did you know that Chip let Helfrich call the plays for the majority of the games this year? He did pretty well considering our offense was the best offense in the nation. Our offense next year will be even better next year because it's the same O with an extra year of experience and our D is pretty much going to be the same. We lose three starters, but the rest are coming back with one more year of experience.
I don't even know why I explain these things to you because you obviously have a huge hatred for Oregon. Of course you're the only person who doesn't put UO in their top ten. Everyone else has them in their top five. You do it specificly because you have a crush on me and you want constant attention from me. I guess it's working. Lol.

UF and USCe could have been that team but they blew it
UGA deserves the BCS game over these two teams, Im not saying UGA is better
This system sucks and this situation proves it
All 3 should be in a playoff, but this is what we have and its why college football is a joke beyond words
