What is your opinion of obama and football

    Brilliant, nonsensical retort

There is nothing wrong with football. If pro athletes want better health insurance then they need to buy it.

Wrong. You aren't a conservative either.

Is that because conservatives have to be in favor of brain damage?

    Oh really
Which insurance covers not being able to remember your kids names at forty years old?
I am not advocating any more rule changes, because I see a lot of penalties that are BS
Like where a reciever droos his head six inches and a safety gets flagged for helmet to helmet
But why is trying to minimize the effects of brain trauma through better equipment, testing and monitoring such a threat to you, as a fan?
And what the fack does my political beliefs have to do with anything?
If your political ideology is influencing your position on this issue, then maybe you need to ask yourself if it is indicative of why your party is getting it's ass kicked
If everyone thought like you do. we wouldn't have seat belts or air bags in cars or mandatory car insurance
    Think for yourself man
I realize I may be asking a lot, but what the hay?

Let's have a dialogue instead of insulting each other

    How about this

Evey kid who plays HS football has to pass a medical exam every year

So as oart of that exam. they could do a baseline brain function test

That would give them a starting point, and it would also help them evaluate him during the season if he does get a head knock to know when he can safely returm to the field

The results of that exam could follow him around, like his transcripts or dental records, and they could use it to evaluate him on a year to year basis

If he keeps playing, they would have it as a tool when he is a junior in college, and if he keeps playing, they could use it at the combine or in his tenth year. Every August from 14 years old

I am a firm believer that the more infirmation you have, the better your decisions you will make

In your world it is " Wait for the autopsy and then say he knew the risks"

I like my world better, long term

Now go ahead and expain how that makes me a Commie Pinko, Senor Juan Birch

Obama is a fan just like the rest of us. If he is asked a question on the subject it would be hard not to have an opinion and respond. On the other hand, they have to know the position they are in and the fact that when they express their opinions it carries much more weight than when others do. I do not think the gov has any business getting involved from a legislative standpoint.

I agree, yet the same people complaining always complain about political correctness.

I think that ultimately, any mention of Obama causes them to sprout vaginas.

I'm pretty sure those types of injuries will be covered by Obamacare.
