the word is it's a movie/miniseries tie in. I think Ron Howard is involved. Basicly some of the books are movies and the others are a mini-series, forget which was which. Didn't have me too excited.

I've heard rumors, though nothing in probably a couple years. Some pics were floating around but I think they were just fan pics. I'll believe it when I see it.

Theyve been trying to come up w another mad max movie, but keep burning through script rewrites. A book I read called "Under and Alone" ive heard is in the works. Its a true story of an undercover ATF agent infiltrating the most outlaw of outlaw motorcycle gangs (at the time), the mongols. Crazy story, id love to hear the unedited (gov't edited) version.

I know they are remaking robo cop and total recall

More than rumors, though, it is very real. A trilogy of movies plus a couple of TV series. Javier Bardeim as Roland (No Country For Old Men), Ron Howard is directing and Universal was the production studio, but they quit...leaving the project DOA.

However, Warner Bros has PICKED IT BACK UP AND IT IS ON TRACK!!

Filming will hopefully begin in the first part of '13. WB will do the movies and HBO the TV series.
