OL, RB might be the best in the country. Our OL might be the best we have ever had at Alabama.

LT- (5*) Cyrus Kouandjio- SO. He was the number one OT in the 2011 class.

LG- (3*) Chance Warmack- SR. He is the top OG according to more than one mock site. He is projected in the 2rd round in 2013

C- (4*) Barrett Jones- rSR. He is the returning Outland Trophy winner. He has played OT, G, and now his natural position C. He is projected int he first round in 2013

RG- (3*) Anthony Steen- rJR. One of the strongest guys on the team. But he might be the only one that does not go in the first two rounds of the draft.

RT- (5*) DJ Fluker- rJR. Massive OT prospect that projects as a first round pick in 2013. He is a top 3 and top 5 pick in some mock drafts.

    RB:

(4*) Eddie Lacy (rJR) (5*) Dee Hart (rFR)- Has gotten HUGE according to everyone (4*) Jalston Fowler (JR) (5*) Tj Yeldon (FR) (4*) Blake Sims (rSO) (4*) Kenyand Drake (FR)

    ...running behind that OL, yikes.

with a NCG MVP QB as well . cheers

however the backup NT & new longsnapper positions rate as early question marks.

  • USC will have BY FAR the best QB group in the country

Matt Barkley, Jesse Scroggins , Cody Kessler and Max Wittek.
All were either Under Armour or Army All American

Best WR group in the country BY FAR

Robert Woods, Marqise Lee, George Farmer (5 Star HS Teammate of Lee and Woods, bigger and faster than either), DeVon Flournoy, Victor Blackwell, Nelson Agholar and Darreus Rogers

I would also put the Tight Ends as pretty impressive

Randall Telfer, Xavier Grimble, Christian Thomas, Junior Pomee and incoming Jalen Cope Fitzpatrick All 4 and 5 star players

We also lose only one O Lineman and replace him with Aundrey Walker who has dropped 60 pounds.

Offense is going to be sick this year

  • FSU's DLis going to be nuts next year.

We have 3 DEs all of whom have a chance at All American status (Jenkins will probably be a 1st rounder)

Our DT position is crazy deep with Studs like Jernigan.

And we add Mario Edwards and Eddie Goldman.

No doubt. That incoming class is beastly

QB-wide receivers are going to kill it next season.

    I know, stating the obvious.

Woods will demand a double team and Marqise Lee will get a lot of attention as well. Which leaves either George Farmer or Victor Blackwell, who will see mostly single coverage from either S or a third CB. If they put it all together this spring and fall camp, it's a wrap.

Seeing as everyone else except USC has so much proven experience behind their all-american starter, who has the best QB rotation?

I think talent wise it will be O Line but they are extremely young still with three new starters at least. I liked how our D Line came along last year and think they will be our post group throughout the season. If Dyer didn't leave I would have said RB but hard to say that now with your best RB gone.

  • DL - FIve stars Powell, FLoyd, and Easley return for their third year. Floyd moves back to DT, where he belongs. All three should have big years.

Depth is Five star senior Omar Hunter - Very solid, never spectacular. Doubt that changes at this point.
Westbrook, Okine, K. Johnson, D. Jacobs, Leon Orr

incoming five stars Fowler and Bullard, along with incoming four stars Omari PHillips and Q. WIlliams. Also Cox and Mann. UF's DL should be amazing this year, but still relatively young overall. Only one senior in the entire group. I have no concern whatsoever that this group will be a top unit nationally.

DB - Completely stacked with talent. Started two true freshmen last year, yet played very well by years end. Elam, Roberson, Watkins, Saunders, Evans, Riggs, Purifoy all young, all started, all top recruits.

Incoming class of Bailey, Maye, Poole, Ledbetter was perhaps the best out there.

Again, not concerned at all about DB. Should be one of the best units out there

TE - Jordan Reed and AC Leonard return, along with the two incoming freshmen in the nations top TE on ESPN and Scout in Colin Thompson, and the nations top TE on Rivals in Kent Taylor. Three of the four were top 5 nationally on every site. Reed and AC have produced. No concern at all here.

FG Kicker - Sturgis returns.. One of three finalists for the FG kicker award last year.. Whatever that's called.

Wish I could say OL. 12 of 13 return from last year and still only one senior. Three OCs and Ol coaches in three years. Time for all these four and five star kids to step up. Biggest concern this year for UF imo.

Well, would you rather have QB's that were all highly recruited, nationally, and played very well in the post season All Star games or 2 and 3 star players that very few teams wanted?

These guys are all playing behind arguably the best QB in USC history, Scroggins was hurt last year, and the other two were true frosh who red-shirted.

If there is another team out there that can sight better credentials, based on HS rankings, I haven't seen it, and if there is another school that has guys on it's roster who have a lot of college playing time, then they don't have a TRUE number 1 QB and certainly no one on Barkley's level.

Also, I think USC should get at least a little bit of respect for developing the 4 and 5 star QB's they do get. Based on past performance, I believe you can at least give the 3 youngsters a little bit of a pass.

I don't think what I said about the QB's is arrogant. It is an opinion, but I can defend it

And I don't think ANYONE can disagree with what I said about the WR's

I would love to see someone try though.

I made no such claim about the TE's, just that they are very good, and very deep.

But I wouldn't trade them as a group fpr any other team's TE's I know there INDIVIDUAL TE's who are probably better, but the topic was position GROUPS
