Truth. And don't forget the rest of the northeast teams outside of Pitt (who we currently have a winning record against):

    -BC (19-4) -Rutgers (22-2) -Temple (37-3) -Syracuse (42-23) -West Virginia (48-9-2)

    Indiana as well.

  • A&M owns TCU (24 game winning streak in football)

They're kind of a rival but Texas Tech as well, pretty sure they haven't beaten us in any, yes ANY, sport in something like 2 1/2 years.

Don't feel bad we own tOSU as well.

If 13-9-1 is owning then so be it. Take into consideration that 15 of the 23 meetings between the two schools were played in either Pasadena or LA. (7 Rose Bowls in which USC won 4 and OSU won 3). Pretty even IMO.

  • For FSU it would be South Carolina, LSU, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Notre Dame and the Big 10.

If you mean 2013 that means you are still banking on the fact that Barkley is leaving.

If you mean next game yer nuts.

I must say I'm extremely impressed this thread hasn't turned into a Michigan/Michigan State catfight yet.

We own Indiana (41-14-7), but that's not exactly something to brag about. Everyone owns Indiana.

ahhh sparty fans bragging about owning IU.... had to get some catfight in

Sorry, but when the BIG was dominating west coast teams in the early days, no one complained about winning in picture perfect Southern California weather, or complaining about the Rose Bowl...and I do believe the majority of our wins came from the last 10 meetings.

    Woody freakin' Hayes included.

With that said, I have tons of respect for the BIG-10, the architects of modern college football, the history of the conference exceeds any other by a long shot.

True It's just that the last tOSU win was in the 1974 Rose Bowl.

Since then 3 Rose Bowl wins and 4 ooc wins 3 of them blow outs. That's a solid lease if not ownage.

Come on..he is starting all four years, and he'll begin his master's program this year to stay eligible. Our center, Kahlid Holmes, will graduate with his Master's degree in Communication Management in 2012.

We've had a few players who received their advanced degrees while playing for USC.

Let me re phrase the statement for you.

You are banking on (Notre dame winning in 2013 because) of the fact that Barkley is leaving.

I'm sorry I made the assumption you would fill in the obvious blank.

and don't get too worked up USC will still be loaded with a 2 year QB coming in.

Woods has been making noises about staying all 4 years. I'll believe it when I see it.

Even if he leaves early we have Lee, Farmer, Blackmon, Flornoy, and Algholor still there.

2013 USC - ND could be an epic game.

I wasn't complaining for the folks who made the trip out to sunny Cali back in the day, I was just using that to show that OSU had fairly good success vs USC when 2/3 of the games were played in their backyard. I'm guessing there aren't too many teams that have had much more success vs USC out there. ND maybe? Anyway, you get my point. And you are right, USC has won the last 7 meetings, so I guess you guys have owned us in my lifetime, but the overall is fairly even.

Yeah... I feel bad for Indiana, so I left them off my list. They haven't beaten us yet. I could also add Illinois (I think we are like 15-4 against them), but they have played us tough recently.

Exactly the reason I don't put too much store in random matchups.

The Rose Bowl may just go back to the PAC/BIG-10 format that characterizes it's founding. I would love to see the Rose Bowl completely drop out of the BCS mess, it is the ONLY bowl game that has remained free of scandal and mismanagement...while those in charge of running it are the lowest paid in the bowl series.

Maybe because of where the Rose Bowl is located (Pasadena, an "Old California" city populated by philanthopists) and the residents consider the Rose Bowl - and how it is managed - a part of their pride for the city of Pasadena, the fact that the Rose Bowl was always secondary to the world famous Rose Parade. They don't need the BCS.

Let the tradition stand, "The Grandaddy of Them All" go back to how it was always ment to be.
