What's Bethesda's next big release?

  • I'm really digging this open world stuff and hope most all future games begin moving in this direction. Does Bethesda have anything coming out that falls in the line with their fallout 3/Skyrim type releases? Thanks

    I have no problems admitting that I've played Fallout 3 about 20 times through and Fallout New Vegas around 12 times through. I'm currently playing Skyrim for the 5th time...

    You have finished everything there is to do in Skyrim? I'm almost 400 hours in, and STILL have some side quests that I haven't done.

    My #1 game of all time. Well, maybe. Its a tough list to make. Skyrim, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Red Dead Redemption, Super Mario World, Kingdom Hearts... They are all high up there.

    That's what I'm doing this time is going through as a Nord and I'm literally going through every town talking to every person looking under every rock to make sure I don't miss anything. In all honesty I'm having much more fun with this approach than rushing through the main quests as different characters etc...

    Sign me up. I don't care what people think, I'm openly admit I'm obsessed with the open world stuff Bethesda is putting out. Fallout 4 is a MUST.

    We should get Fallout 4 since Bethesda isn't working on ESO. Zenimax is getting some help from Bethesda so they stay true to the Elder Scrolls formula, but Bethesda is not developing it. That means they are developing something else at the moment. What? God only knows.

    All of the main quests are great. It didn't take me too long to finish them. Like I said, nearly 400 hours into it, and I haven't completed the entire game. It just through me off guard when you said playing through it for a 5th time.

    I think I might prefer fallout to Elder Scrolls just because they make the world so unique. The radio stations with the Dorsey Brothers type music just adds to the super isolated and alone feeling.

    I couldn't agree more. When I'm playing the fallout stuff I literally feel like I'm that character. My one and only request would be to add much more dialogue options when simply hanging out with locals in each town. Add just that little extra so you really feel like you're there carrying on a convo in person...

    Fallout 3 is the best game I've ever played in terms of holding my attention. If they come out with a Fallout 4 I will be in heaven. The main thing I fear when a game has a lot of success is companies changing it. DON'T CHANGE IT, just give me more of the same and add more quest, more character interaction, more land etc. don't stray from what is working just add too it imo. Oh and please make a mature version as well as a special edition "adults only" version lol.

    The reviews pretty much all say the same thing. This game (series) is setting the new standard for RPG games and drastically raising the bar. Do you recommend I start with The Witcher first?
