  • Been to about 100 concerts (mostly rock) and the best as far as show and energy level (artist and and fans) was Prince. Seen him 6 times and he blew everyone away every time.

I'm not bragging just saying cuz you bring back memories. I seen Aerosmith 7 times. My fav. Aerosmith concert was in 74 when get your wings just came out. They rocked both that album and 1st album out!!! Seen em right after toy's in attic came out. As well as there later ones. Just something about when you see them in there prime with a hot album that makes it all the better.

The last time I saw tehm Sammy Hagar opened for them and at one point he was saying that the only bands he would ever open for are the Stones and Aerosmith.

  • Jay-Z in London, Ontario was amazing.
Kanye West *2 in Toronto, Ontario. The second one at the Molson Ampitheatre for his Glow in the Dark tour was unreal.
Kanye West and Jay-Z at the Air Canada Centre a couple of months ago was outstanding.
Tragically Hip last year in a field in cottage country Ontario was unbelievable.

Worst Concert: Lil Wayne at the ACC (he sucks live IMO).

Caught them in Charlottesville on the 360 tour. Was really good. Rogers Waters in Columbus, 2010, The Wall, was also damn good.

Yeh he does suck, but he sucks even more live. You honestly can't understand a word he is saying live. I only went because my buddy had a box, and I wasn't going to turn down a box.

Help set up for Jeffrey Osborne and El DeBarge, while I was in college. Osborne was super cool and talking to us, shaking our hands, and I ended up on his bus with his backup singers teaching me how to woo woo woo.

El debarge was about 4 feet 8, and the biggest prick I have seen in person. Did nothing but scream and cuss at everybody

  • Best eye candy concert: Julie Roberts

    IDWIW

  • 1) Pearl Jam - but then again I am a big Pearl Jam fan
    2) Metallica - In a thunderstorm outdoors, it was great
    3) Red Hot Chili Peppers/Foo Fighters combo - both put on a great show
    4) Fuel/Oleander/3 Doors Down... Solid tri-fecta there

I also like Violent Femmes, Third Eye Blind, CSN, and I also liked Bone Thugs.

Too each his own RT. But barfing towards Kanye (in his prime, not crap he makes now), and Jay-Z is crazy. Two of the best to ever do it.

I agree. Just not what I'm into. Didn't mean to downgrade.

Oh no doubt I knew what you were saying, just thought I would clarify my standpoint.

I'm not really into the Tragically Hip, but their concert last year in this field was amazing. I had never been to a concert like this, it was probably 30,000 in a massive farmers field. Crazy stuff, like nothing I've ever experienced.

  • My favorite was probably Thrice at the House of Blues in Dallas.

Most energy was probably Against Me played an acoustic show at The Double Wide in Dallas. Didn't know acoustic could have that much energy.

    Aussie

  • Allman Brothers & Dave Matthews Band at Piedmont Park. The Allman Bros opened and shredded for a couple of hours, and then DMB absolutely tore it up. I still attest that the cover of Melissa with Gregg Allman on stage with DMB is the best version of that song hands down, including the original.

I saw three doors down and they were horrible. One of the worst shows I've seen.
