What's up with SEC Hoops?

Usually a pretty decent basketball conference. However, an awful December
just got more awful for the SEC on Saturday.

if your conference cant compete in football vs the SEC talk olympic sports, basketball, wonens sports etc... signed all other conferences

I think they have been pretty solid and a little bit underrated through the years.
Over the past 10-12 years the SEC has put a lot of talent in the NBA.
The SEC has produced the 2nd most starters in the NBA right now, out of all conferences.
The Pac12 has produced the most.

No, I just like to keep it real. Each of the Big 3 NCAA sports tend to have a region that is is highly overrated. I like
to show which conferences live off the media hype and which ones earn it.
In Basketball, it was the Pac10 for the late 70's and 80's. For the last 15 or so years the Big Ten has taken over as the most overrated conf. Although they appear to be pretty strong this year and maybe ready to live up to the hype. Maybe it's the SEC's turn.
In college baseball it's the ACC.
In football, the southern region, but that's only because the hype is so big. Still very good, but with the hype that is given you would think the south would at least have a winning record against the western teams in the BCS era.

South Carolina baseball success is mainly a product of regionalizing the baseball tournament. They get to play those weaksauce small schools now instead of having to battle through stacked regionals out west.
What are they like 20-0 vs everybody else and 3-2 vs the Pac 12 during the last 3 years in the playoffs, the rubber game being an extra inning win over UCLA.
They've been good, but no way they win 20 + straight without the Furman's and College of Charleston types in their regionals and all the gimme wins they get since they changed the format.
