No, in the winter the gorges are frozen. Students only come to you in the warmer weather when they can actually jump off bridges and hit water.

Huh, I always thought there was some correlation between winter and the suicide rates there. Like the correlation between the summer and porn stars in the library.

Ha, no. Must have me mixed up with someone else.

I guess so. What is your profession?

Well, considering "winter" arguably spans from mid-September to mid-April in Ithaca, I guess you could say that there's a correlation between winter and suicide rates.

Work for a family business now. Manufacturer's reps for industrial motion components mostly...gear boxes, electric motors, silicone adhesives/lubricants, etc.

Started out at a refurb IT equipment provider after college...it sucked.

I can only imagine the final being a box of tissues, some lube and a Jenna Jameson DVD.

Ha there are some plenty of average degrees here. I think if I was lying about my degree I wouldn't have chosen The Citadel. (You're probably asking what a citadel is about now)

BTW, Jesus apologizes for the inter-Ivy d-baggery commentary. Hypocritical given that I loathe it.

Did you have any fun at the Citadel or did it suck as bad as I want to imagine?

The Lords of Discipline is one of my favorite books of all time regardless

Cornell doesn't have a specific pre-law major, so I cobbled my own together out of both a government and history major. The vast majority of my classes were dedicated to either the history of the law, business law, ethics, negotiation, or actual law classes (Cornell makes a handful of law school classes available to undergrads, and cross-lists them in History/Govt.).

As for what I'm doing, I'm finishing law school and working for the litigation department of a large firm, mainly doing product liability defense.

Yeah, professor. I realize its an unusual career choice, but its a field I've always been interested in.

If your major is Ancient History I think this is a perfectly valid question. I'm a history buff myself but i'm just saying.
