Thinking of getting a new truck soon, my first truck is starting to give me more problems than its worth, got a pretty good deal from a buddy when I got her, 05 Nissan Frontier.... Thinking I want a newer F250 quad cab super duty, really like the Tundra's also though... what is your experience with these trucks or what do you think is best to buy?

Why not an f-150? Seems to be the best on the market.

yeah I played on a Ford website and decked one out, the price tag was depressing when it was all said and done but it was a thing of beauty! Reallly like the Tundra look and heard they have a great safety rating as well.

thought the tundra was a little bigger, you could be right though. I just know I need a bigger cab, my boss has a 350 and a guy I work with has 450... ridiculously too big and with gas at 3.75 in Ohio I dont want one although those are deisel but deisel is up there too!

Not sure on the specs but I don't think the cab space from the 150 to the 250 is that different. Sounds like you might want to look at mini vans Mr.Mom.

The eco tech on my wifes Escape is not getting anywere near the MPG that its rated for. She's got the 2013 and its supposed to get 30 something highway, nowere near it.

You may want to stay away from the f250 diesel. Several friends who have had serious issues. Gas not so much

you know I did hear that they have had some probs..... sucks cuz deisels have so much power to them but... I dont want a money pit

Go diesel whatever way you go. there is only one side and that is the price at the pump, you can modify it and make up for that though

I work construction and at some point the plan is to add a boat.... I just want something I am not limited with, I like the idea of putting a plow on it in the winter if I want, the upfront cost sucks but you can go out and make 50 bucks an hour plowing and all you are doing is screwing around jamming the radio
