That's what the rest of Europe is worried about, and it's also what Germany is worried about as well. They don't completely trust themselves yet, and to now be forced into this situation it's only going to increase tensions.

Evil Germans. It's in their blood. All the ones that didn't go along with the atrocities were killed off. All that's left are the relatives and descendents of the people that actually carried out the evil acts.

I work for a German company. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING must be exactly in order. They have plan A. Plan B is that plan A will work. You ask, well what if it doesn't? Plan A will work. Do not attempt to be an individual. Ever. You will fall in line. Worked for two German companies and my dad works for a third. They are all this way.

Also I've actually been told that how something looks is more important than how it actually operates. I twitched a little when I heard that. German engineering = make it as complex as humanly possible so you have more stuff that can mess up instead of keeping it simple.

That's not a German thing, it is a European thing. Italian, French, Dutch, and British engineering is far more aesthetics>utility than German engineering, at least in regards to things I have some knowledge about(cars, motorcycles, audio equipment).

I'll second those who say Germany is awesome. I hate the food, but it is an awesome place to visit.

I cant help but laugh at the supidity of this post. This guy is a product of our mind control school system. The United States is by far the worst/most destructive, evil country in the world, and no one is even close. The people just dont know it. They are sheeples. They believe everything the media tells them. 9/11, pentagon, Iraq has mass destruction materials, Your name in all caps on most all documents means nothing, SS is broke because we have to many baby boomers, our economy is bad because........The flag in a courtroom with gold fringes means nothing, we are governed by the Constitution, Our politicians have our best interests at heart, our voting system is not rigged, Obama is from Hawaii, Bush Sr is from Tx, the IRS is legal, it goes on and on. Wake the frig up will you...Jezzz, what has to happen for the average american to realize that you are being lied and used,,,,,HELLO!

We aren't letting 12 year old kids have machine guns running around shoting people.. Bombings everywhere.. Ran by the Military.

If you went to Germany, you'd love them. Italians and Germans love Americans. Which is ironic since we beat them, but not really since we really liberated them. But German girls WANT American guys. We make their lady parts like a tropical storm as soon as they find out we are Americans.

I stayed there as an exchange student in the summer of 93, trust me, there is still hate for americans (from a small %) for being against them in ww2. I got harassed for just that by people of all ages. Mostly good people though, really enjoyed my time there. They spent about 5 mins on ww2 in the history class I was in. It was viewed as a very bad time to discusd. Just my experience

i lived there for 10 years and yeah, there were a small percentage that hated americans. mostly they were fans of us propping them up after the war, instead of crushing them into submission. i ran into an old man on the u-bahn one day who couldn't stop thanking me for the berlin airlift and telling me how he and his friends would run out and grab the crates as they parachuted in (i was all of 16 years old). the vast majority of germans are pretty pro-american.
