That probably wasn't fair. I never said Alshon was better than whoever, but I'm sure some of our overzealous fans probably said that at some point, somewhere on the internet. I'm guessing it was most likely pre-season 2011 or post season 2010.
TBH, statistically I can't blame them in that time frame. Alshon was coming off 1,500 yard season and AJ never cracked 1,000 in his time in Athens. I wouldn't put that on AJ though, it's not his fault a freak show talent like that wasn't used more.
