It is important to understand what the theory of evolution says about the origin of man since so many people believe this theory. Evolution is commonly taught in public schools and in colleges, and is strongly promoted by the media.
I guess I say I believe this theory because modern technology hasn't seemed to prove any different. I came across this question while watching an episode of 'Ancient Aliens' (that show will blow your fucking mind by the way if you really pay attention)
I'd like to hear everyone's theories as to how we bacame this way...from teeth to toenails why do we look the way we do? How did we become so intelligent? Why as a species are we so curious about our origins?

Oh gosh...okay it all had to do with when we were less evolved primates. Originally at some point prior to this it's likely we had eyes on the sides of our heads, because it made it easier to see predators, right? Well Monkeys 'decided' that living in trees was a better solution and therefore began to need better depth perception to adapt to tree life. So their eyes moved together, they had better depth perception but they still needed to be able to see predators as well as they used to, so they became a communal species. In other words, they relied on each other to spot predators. Over a lot of time this grew into playing and relationships and helped develop our brains along a different path than our more furry primate cousins.
Anyway that is a very simplified version of how it was explained to me that humans became intelligent.
