Not only am I familiar with the pros/cons of tourists I'm also familiar with past and present tense, two things that have eluded you to this point. You see nobody comes to Charleston and says "oh what a shithole, I'm never coming back" and that is a very diverse group of people while Panama City only has to cater to kids and they can't even get that right. Don't brand yourself as a spring break destination and then blame tourists for sucking.

About 13 miles outside of Detroit while my kids are in school. From memorial to labor day a little town called Saugatuck. I also hang out in a town called Manistee in the summer it's also on lake Michigan. I won't leave Michigan. My parents have a place in California in hemet and split time seasonably. I'll stay in Michigan all 12 months, even when I retire. A week in those places that have 12 months of summer is good enough for me.

Saugatuck is a great place to vaca!!
Don't let the haters tell you any differently..-
Went there for an outdoor wedding, and aside from flying on the puddle-jumper, keep saying we want to go back!
Still love the coasts, tho-

I don't know about "haters", but I do like it there in the summer. It's an unbelievable eclectic group of people. You have very conservative right wing Dutch Reform people, and you have your gay community, and then youhave the tree hugging hang out at the red dock hippies. Great music, fun night life, 5 star restaurants. I wouldn't live anywhere else in the summer. My family and I love it, from water skiing to just hanging out.
