Another benefit imho is the change of seasons. I LOVE the foliage in the fall, the snow in winter, the blooming buds in spring and the warmth of the sun in summer. I wouldn't be able to live somewhere say like Minnesota where hot is 70 degrees or Florida where cold is 70 degrees. I desire the change of seasons... I wouldn't know what to do without that "football smell" if I lived in the south and people in the north know what I mean... It's incredible.

South Carolina. Born and raised. Lived elsewhere. Travelled a lot. Very happy right where I'm at. If I had to move and assuming money isn't an option..... -A beach. Somewhere tropical. Edit: just read the great white thread so to hell with the ocean -Maine seems nice. Vermont too. Laid back. Not hot. Lots of syrup. -CA. So Cal to be specific. Maybe Malibu? Georgeous there. Water is too damn cold so I'm not worried about sharks. NYC- would take some getting used to but Manhattan is amazing.
