Where'd your parents go to school?

Both parents grew up overseas, did school out there. My dad did med school (for the second time) at Michigan. Mom - Associates at a comm college, after fighting for 5 years to get them to accept her HS diploma

Both parents went to Michigan State. Dad did vet school, mom Lyman Briggs (science). Right now I'm attending MSU and am the 5th person in my small family to go here.

Mother Indiana St. and dad ,also graduated after Vietnam, from IU. Know what you mean, dad mentioned very little about combat. After he passed I received all his records and written accounts of how Vietnam was as a 17/18 year old from BFE, small, town in Indiana. Blew my mind and i'm a vet. He was fighting with the VA until the day he died hence all the written documents and personal stories..

My parents (dad and step-mom) attended THE Des Moines Area Community College. They both did so as older adults and it is where they met. They were both trying to get on track after having less than stellar track records in their 20s and 30s. I moved in with them when I was 6. They both worked very, very hard--my dad 50+ hours/week graveyard in a factory, step-mom full time at an urban, public hospital--so they could give me a better life than they got and a better start than they gave my older siblings. I am quite grateful for their work ethics.
I attended Wheaton College and now am in seminary at Baylor University. We cheer for Iowa because we're Iowans, not because we attended the University.

Neither parent did the college thing. I was the first person to go to PSU. Didn't grow up with any ties to any schools.

Dad went to Alabama. Mom's family didn't have any money so she didn't go to college but is a big Auburn fan. Ironically, she's one of the smartest people I know and keeps my dumbass dad from making some really awful business/life decisions.

My father was playing football at UCLA when my mother(a high school senior) got pregnant. He dropped out as a sophomore to get a job. My aunt later was a sprinter on the Bruin track team, my sister also played water polo there. We are a Bruin family.
I spent my first 2yrs years at UCLA as a walk-on with a partial academic schollarship, realized I wasn't ever going to sniff the field so I followed the money to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Completed my graduate studies at BYU, AT Still(Mesa, Arizona), and U of Houston.
