Well I'm not looking past them. Hopefully Saban and our players aren't overlooking them either. Especially now that Kenny Bell broke his damn leg. That is going to hurt us no matter what people say.

You're right, its much better
They have Clowney sure, but ND has a whole heap of dudes who are solid and better DT's and LB's for sure
Its not even close really
USCe has the nation leader in sacks with Clowney at 13
ND has 3 guys in the top 65 nationally though, USCe only has Clowney.... then, literally nobody else in the top 100
And Tuitt is top 10 with 11, ND has a better pass rush no doubt..... numbers don't lie in this case

All you gotta do is look at them imo, they are one of the most impressive looking front 7's I have ever seen
Its crazy to think Aaron Lynch would have moved somebody to the bench as well
They are huge and very productive, not SEC fast.... but fast enough
Its not like they made their due on the ACC all year, they have pwned some pretty good OL's all year

Its hard for me to think otherwise now, FSU has only beaten 2 teams with a winning record
They might be a good team, but nobody really knows for sure cause they haven't been tested week in and week out
One of the winning teams was Miami, the other was Clemson
FSU has the potential but injuries killed them once again, and coaching is just not good at so many key areas
FSU has maybe 3 good coaches ( Eliot, Haggins and maybe Dawsey though Im not thrilled with his unit either )
UF beat the living shit out of FSU and I won't say FSU is the better team, I can't...... but they are better than a 37-20 beating in their own place, UF exposed a lot to me and brought a lot of fears of mine to light
I wouldn't be shocked at all to see FSU lose around 4-5 games next year and watch the wheels really start to fall off
Jimbo isn't a good coach, he does some things well but his ego provides all kinds of problems in areas of need
The main one being his reluctance to fire his boy Trickett who just can't get the job done, and if he starts his son next year it will show just how much favoritism he shows that man for no god damn reason

ND would have a decent chance. They have played a grinding, SEC, like schedule, a lot of close games, they obviously play good defense, so you always have a chance. Bama's secondary is their weakness, not sure if ND could exploit it. For UGA to get there, Aaron Murray can't disappear, like he usually does in big games. If he has a good day, they can beat anybody.

This is where Georgia misses Marlon Brown and Michael Bennett so much. They would have given us these big body wide receivers to man handle the defensive backs for bama with slants to the middle of the field. I believe we win if we adjust to the game early enough. If bama has pressure back in Murrays face, I see Georgia going to a three step drop and throw with a lot of shotgun screens to our play makers also. We have more than a punchers chance here.
Btw.... Sec is where champions play. To be the best you have to beat the best. And also if Notre Dame is as lights out as people say, how did they let a bad Pittsburg team come THIS close to beating them? Teo is solid... But I don't believe he is as special as everyone says.

I wasn't sold on ND but the QB is playing pretty well right now and they really seem to have figured some things out on offense. They are running the ball with Riddick and the frosh QB is starting to look pretty goos actually. It won't be nearly as easy as I once thought it might be. They have arguably the best front 7 in the nation.
I really think it is faulty logic to use one close game as a measue of a team' ability. There are still Bama folks on BOL that don't think UGA is for real because you beat UK by 5 points and UT bu 7 points. They have SEC win between them and that's only because they had to play each other. I think UGA is better than those performances but I think you're making a mistake by underestimating ND. They are athletic and well coached.
